Tartare night and TTC

I'm going for dinner at friends' tomorrow night and they are serving tartare. I'm one day late (and will be two days late tomorrow), so I don't want to take a chance at eating raw beef. My boyfriend just ran to buy a test, but I was kind of hoping on waiting a good 10 days after missed period to take one. I had a MC at the end of January, so my cycles are probably not regular yet... What do you do when you're in your TWW and are offered raw meat, drinks or anything else you shouldn't be having IF you are pregnant? We've been trying for 8 months and I'm kind of tired of being careful.

I personally continue on with life like I normally would. Eat, drink and be merry! Until you get the BFP, I wouldnt worry too much about it.
