    3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?
Same old. Nothing new this month.

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
CD 13. Waiting to O. Been bad about temping this cycle but OPKs starting to look darker.
    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
Eh, not sure. Kind of feel like nothing I do matters, so why am I doing all of this. Sort of resigned to it's all luck so maybe just try to have a lot of sex and screw the rest of it (no pun intended).
QOTW: It's a dreary day in these parts.  What is a song to you hear that can always make you smile? Stories of why welcomed:)
Ha, well, although most of my listening is NPR, I can really get into pop music.  Sometimes Thrift shop by Macklemore makes me happy. Also the Killers.

    3. absolutely nothing.  didn't temp, charted a little bit of cm and charted sex (which was much better this month!)

    4. I should be in the TWW.  Using information from past cycles, I probably o'd around 3/18 so I'm potentially 7dpo.  Am trying not to test until 4/1 which would be 1 day past my longest cycle length.  However, I have an obsessive personality so I'm sure I'll test before then.  :)

    5. I've been pretty blah lately, but I'm starting to feel a little better about this cycle.  Maybe just relaxing and not temping has helped.

QOTW: It's a dreary day in these parts.  What is a song to you hear that can always make you smile? Stories of why welcomed:) - Hey Soul Sister by Train - ds used to sing it and always sang Hey Toll Titter before he could say his s's well.  It was so cute.

    1. Your Name or Screen Name (not full names) and State you are from. efhoping2010, WY

    2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.? Since miscarriage and D&C surgery May 2012, IVF/ICSI is our only option because of DH's dx.

    3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?  IVF/ICSI #4 with a fresh PESA for DH and then CCS testing and later FET at the "big clinic".

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?  Finished Estrogen Priming for IVF/ICSI #4, AF showed up earlier than planned on 3/24, go for baseline u/s and b/w at local clinic on 3/27, start microdose lupron and dexamethasone on 3/28 and add stims, menopur and gonal f on 3/30.  Approved for funding from our bank, a personal line of credit, it is a good option for those without huge savings or who have spent all of their savings on previous IVF or infertility treatment cycles.  Writing 4 huge checks today to be overnighted.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) Feeling hopeful today, shocked that the financing through our bank actually worked. Scared of doing all of this will still result with a poor result.

    4. CD11- I got a +opk today which is totally weird. I'll be taking another later because my 'usual' days were 16-18 but this is my first unmedicated in a long time.
    5. Not very hopeful but executing the 'get knocked up now' strategy as planned.

    4. No idea. See above. I honestly think any tampons in the house have expired at this point!

    5. Anxious about wasting time, and feel like I need to either own my decision to continue nursing, or else really make a concerted effort to wean in an effort to get this show on the road. Right now I feel a pang of guilt every time DD attempts to nurse, which is not really fair to me or to her. I need to make a decision. Also, started therapy a couple of weeks ago about some anxiety issues, and I feel like that will help me a lot (although it's expensive, which adds a level of stress).

QOTW: I always get excited and nostalgic when I hear that "If you leave, don't leave now" song from Pretty In Pink. Loved that final scene in the movie where she's making out with Blaine in the parking lot and drops her purse because she's so into it. I'm such a child of the '80s.

I made a short intro a few days ago with an FF question so this is where I go into more details about our TTC journey.

    2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.?
This is my first TTC round. We're trying for baby #1

    3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?
I've been temping/charting for over a year. This month I started using OPKs for the first time. Next cycle I will start checking my CM in a much more diligent way.

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
End of 2WW. AF is due on Saturday so that's when I should test... I bet I will test Friday though!

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I could have sworn I was pregnant up until yesterday morning when my temp dropped below the cover line. :(
Now I just feel hopeful for next cycle eheh

QOTW: It's a dreary day in these parts.  What is a song to you hear that can always make you smile? Stories of why welcomed:)
I always smile when I hear Two Weeks by Grizzly Bear as that's the song that our wedding videographer picked when he edited our "getting ready" footage. Whenever I hear it my mind goes to the first time DH and I watched the finished video together.

    Second cycle hoping for #2.

I haven't done anything at all this cycle so far. Haven't been sleeping great so temping kind of seems like a wasted effort at the moment. I am paying attention to my cm though and it seems a bit more promising than last cycle.

I'm on CD11. I know I could potentially O anytime in the next week.

I've felt pretty down lately. I don't like that I don't feel I can sit down with my h and talk about everything. If I knew he wasn't being careful because he's decided he would be happy about a bfp, I would run out right now and get a pack of OPKs. But it's confusing that his words and his actions are contradictory, and so actively trying on that level feels like it would be deceptive on my part. So I reluctantly hope for good timing
without doing all I know I can do to make it happen. I kind of think I might have a better chance this cycle if I got the timing right because I'm starting to get a little mojo back and I think my body is more balanced. Then again, I'm always going to fear if it did happen it would just end in another loss.

I can always throw on the song Let's Go Crazy by Prince and at least temporarily pull myself out of a funk. :)

Fly106 from PR. Been trying to conceive #1 since July 2012. Starting over this cycle after AF showed it's dreaded face 2 days ago. Have an appointment with RE tomorrow to start IUI process for the second time. Today would have been my test date but instead I'll try to make it my last day to mope before dusting myself off and carrying on with our journey.

How do I feel about this cycle? Well....I'm having a mix of emotions...I'm frustrated, sad, confused, disappointed, angry, annoyed and a bit hopeless...BUT at the same time I feel like all is not lost since this doesn't have to be the end of the road in our TTC journey. Most of all I'm SCARED.

QOTW: It's a dreary day in these parts.  What is a song that you hear that can always make you smile? Love Ballad by K-CI & JoJo. It's our wedding song. Going back to that day always puts a smile on my face.

Thank u @Guennie!!!! That is exactly what I'm trying to use as motivation. It's been hard. Just realized that having my period in all it's glory is what's making it harder to move passed it. Hopefully when it goes away,  I won't have a constant reminder of our failed attempt. My periods have never been as painful and heavy as this one. It might sound weird but I feel like it keeps taunting me...LOL!!!!

    4. CD3 - almost done with AF and need to start OPKs since I O'd early last cycle.

    5. I'm relieved that we are taking a break to try on our own again before starting any further treatment with the RE. The whole process started to feel overwhelming and I want to really think about each step before we take it. I'm also relieved to be done with last cycle. Everything went all wonky after the HSG and I still don't feel quite normal but I am hoping things are back in shape enough to try this month. It has been an emotional few weeks for a lot of reasons and I am looking forward to spring.

Im on CD3 and let me tell you AF is CRAZY! I know I have heard the first few periods after losses/D&C can be different but holy crap!!!! Im surprised I haven't bled to death. This is cycle 2 after the D&C and I'm shocked cause the first cycle was not like this :/

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
While I totally feel the clock ticking, Im not going to freak out this month if it doesn't happen.....cause if it did....i may turn into a crazy basket case of paranoia. It will be good to have the first month on 4 months not consumed with dr. appts, blood work, being benched from even having sex with H because my body is recovering. Id like to have one normal sane month with the only thing I'm concentrating on really is remembering to temp so Im used to that and my diet back on track. Now that i know i probably can conceive....its motivating.

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
    day 3

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
Hopeful and anxious. In addition to a treatment i am also thinking of this as a test for my egg quality. If she can retrieve 17-20 eggs and none of them are chromosomally normal then we will know our chances are pretty slim and we can move on. I am at a point where i am just ready to know, but at the same time anxious for what that answer will be!
QOTW: It's a dreary day in these parts.  What is a song to you hear that can always make you smile? Stories of why welcomed:)     Here Comes the Sun comes to my mind (i think i keyed into your dreary day comment :)

I've been MIA this week as I've worked 8 days in a row, but I've been lurking and reading everyone's posts.

    1. Your Name or Screen Name (not full names) and State you are from.
    Heather from MN

    2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.?
TTC #2 - this month is the one year anniversary of when I stopped breastfeeding so I could start trying for #2.  I never thought it would take this long since it took ONE Clomid cycle last time.

    3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?
IUI #4 with Gonal-F 200 IU, progesterone supps, CoQ10, Vit C, Vit E, Vit D, DHA, no pop, no alcohol.

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
TWW, 10 dpiui.  Beta on Monday.  I'm not sure if I'll test - I really don't want to be disappointed by a BFN, but I also don't want to be blindsided by a negative beta on Monday.  Same way I feel EVERY SINGLE MONTH.  I may test Sunday.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I'm still feeling really positive and hopeful that this is our cycle.  Hopefully I won't be disappointed.

QOTW: It's a dreary day in these parts.  What is a song to you hear that can always make you smile? Stories of why welcomed:)
Carly Rae Jepson "Call Me Maybe."  We had a foreign exchange student from Germany when that song came out and I remember sitting on a patio on a beautiful summer day and he was bopping in his chair to that song.  It was so funny.  Great memory.  :)

Feel free to add any vents or shout outs.
    Good luck everyone!!

Ok, I need to amend how I'm feeling. My h woke up in the mood so we dtd this morning. I got curious since I haven't been temping and have no idea how close I am to O day. My cervix is wide open. I mean not even remotely questionable, I immediately knew. It's not very soft though and it seems a little sore (it was actually a bit aggravated while dtd this morning). So I must be close to O day and now I feel a twinge of hope. I'm probably setting myself up for a fall again because my h works late the next two days so I'm sure today was our only opportunity. I'd have a lot more hope if we could throw down one more time. I guess a little hope is better than none. Especially since I was feeling like we probably wouldn't hit my window at all this cycle. FX his soldiers can last awhile. I'm feeling really good about switching to decaf this morning. :)

He's a chef and he has really big dinners tonight and tomorrow. He's usually not even remotely in the mood after working big events. I don't see much hope. :(
