OBGYN, no news is good news policy....Is it normal not to be notified of test results? I've had lots of tests and never had a call if the results were normal or not. I have to specifically ask at my next appt or call in myself. So sometimes I'm left wondering for a month. In my 1st trimester I asked the dr. and was told everything was normal, no news is good news.
In the past, with yearly check ups or regular dr. appts, I would hear back within a week good or bad, but I've never been pregnant before so not sure if this is normal when pregnant??
I always received a call in the past for other yearly appointments too, but my OB specifically told me at my first appointment that they would not call with results unless something was wrong. I don't think you need to worry
With my first pregnancy that was normal! No news is good news. They have a lot of women with a lot of test results so for them to call every single one about every single urine sample or blood draw is a lot.
