Lactation help locally

Hi! Any other San Antonio mom's either pregnant, recently delivered, or well into breast feeding that have visited la leche league or milc? Our bf class instructor mentioned these as resources for support. I'm a little uncomfortable going to one alone with no idea what they are like. Thanks for any insight you have!
