What's going on this week for everyone?  Feel free to update here!


Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility
IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN
IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!!
Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545  -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
Camila Josephine arrived 4/30 :)

    Regularly weekly appt with OB-GYN tomorrow (Wednesday). That's about it!

    Regular OB appt for me tomorrow. Started on iron supplement a week ago so thinking well have to wait another 2 weeks to test that since I'm sure 1 week isn't enough time on it.

    I don't have an OB appointment, but I am meeting with 2 pediatricians tomorrow...I need to put together a list of questions, so if any of you STMs have suggestions on what to ask, let me know!

    My first MFM appointment is this Thursday (I'll be 10 weeks). I am hoping that she will be open to all the immune treatment Dr. KK has me on (IVIG, prednisone, lovenox). I had a terrible experience with an OB last week. I hope that this MFM will be open to having weekly ultrasounds and bloodwork for Dr. KK for the rest of the first trimester.

    Me 34 y/o  DH 35 y/o

    IVF#1 (ICSI)-- April 2014-- MDL with BCP, 5R, 4 ICSID, 3dt with three embryos, 1 six-day freeze (2BA grade)-- BFN

    IVF#2.1 (ICSI)-- August 2014: MDL without BCP-- cancelled

    Natural IUI on 11/8 -- BFN

    IVF#2.2 (ICSI)--Nov/Dec 2014: MDL without BCP, 5R, 1 ICSID, frozen on day 6 (grade 2BB)

    FET #1: transferred two 5 (or 6?)day embryos on January 27. Beta #1 (2/4): 158, Beta #2 (2/6): 391 Beta #3(2/9): 1187 BFP! 

    First u/s at 5w1d showed one gestational sac and yolk sac. Second u/s at 6w showed heartbeat at 102. Third u/s at 7w heart rate 145. EDD 10/15/2015

    I have my anatomy scan on Friday.  We are super excited.  :)

    @zeynsom  I hope your appointment with MFM goes better than the OB.

    Off BC since Febuary 2006 3 Clomid Cycles in 2008- symptomatic, US just showed a tilted uterus, otherwise normal, HSG normal.  DH has an ejaculatory duct obstruction and a congenital absence of the vas deferens.  This is common with cystic fibrosis carriers, but he doesn't have cystic fibrosis. IVF #1 with TESE/ICSI (Antagonist protocol) Aug 2014=BFN (poor embryo quality)   IVF #2 ICSI long lupron protocol November 2014

    February-August 2014: Irregular Cycles, U/S showed Fibroids/Cysts, Provera required to get AF, BFNs
    September & October 2014: Testing Months with Reproductive Endocrinologist!
    DH's SA: Normal (116.4 million sperm, 97% motility, 36% morphology) - WHO criteria
    DH's Repeat SA: Poss. Low Morph. (138 million sperm, 73% motility, 8% morphology) - Kruger criteria
    HSG and SIS: Normal (tubes clear)
    Medicated Cycle:     5mg Letrozole + Trigger Injection + TI = BFP!!

    ESTIMATED DUE DATE: AUGUST 13, 2015

    Beta #1: 12/8 - 1,040 Beta #2: 12/10 - 2,902 Beta #3: 12/16 - 19,321
    Ultrasound #1: 12/12 (5 weeks 1 day) - Gestational sac and yolk sac present

    After hours procedure (for instance, our practice works with 3 others for coverage & short hours on Sunday's)

    We had an appointment Monday,  everything is good with the boy.  I'm starting to watch my weight a little bit as I've gained 11 pounds already which the dr said was normal but then also told me to eat more salad...so kinda mixed signals.  I've been walking and exercising but when I asked about starting to jog again the dr said no :( boo

    11 lbs?! That doesn't seem like much at 21 weeks! You only have 19 weeks to go..at a pound a week...would out you at 30 lbs total. That doesn't even seem like enough weight gain to me! Can't wait to see what they say to me then:-(

    10/11: after 2 years, saw a RE, FSH 5.4
    11/11: BFP! (surprise after thyroid & normal hsg),
    12/11: missed m/c after 7 week u/s, 1/12: D&C
    6/12 IUI#1-IUI #3: clomid = BFP!, C/P
    IVF #1(10/12) FSH 5.4, AFC: 16 long Lupron, 5R/5M/4F, all 4 made it to 5dt, 1 blast/1-8 cell transferred=BFN
    IVF #2(12/12)AFC 21, MD lupron, 4R/4M/3F, 5dt of 1 blast and 2-8cell. BFN.
    IVF#3(4/13) Natural start antagon protocol, 12R,11F. one PGS normal at day 6 transfer. BFN.
    IVF#4 (11/13) C.CRM (ODW.U normal 8/13 Still no Diagnosis) EPP/antagonist. ER 13R/7M/6F. Only 1 made it to freeze. Abnormal. Looking into options of DE, Fresh vs frozen.
    10/14 new local RE to look into what's next. CD3 FSH 4.7, AMH 0.9. Met with DE agencies and exploring options for feb/march 2015.
    Surprise natural bfp (4 days before donor is signed). Beta #1 at 9dpo: 51.8, 2nd beta: 195 (25 hours doubling) @11dpo. 3rd beta (12/15): 516 (35 hrs doubling) 4th beta(12/17): 895 (58 hours doubling) 5th beta(12/19): 2120. U/S at 5w0d(12/22): one gestational sac with yolk sac. U/S #2 (6w0d)12/29. One little bean measuring 6w0d with HR 124. 3rd u/s(1/4)7w0d: baby measuring 7w2d. HR 134. 3/30: A/S at MFM went great except for low lying placenta. Verifi results are normal! Team Blue! Please send any positive thoughts our way! EDD:8/24/2015
    Baby Will born 8/18. He's perfect.

    I THINK because I gained like 5 lbs between my last appointments, I don't think they were as concerned about my over all weight as the fact that it's steadily getting more and more :/  But I also think my stomach noticeable popped between my last appointments so I'd like to believe it's all just baby boy lol  ALSO this is the same woman that messed up my blood results so maybe she is just a quack!

    @sorrellam30  It sounds like she's just a little overly cautious or just doesn't know what she's talking about.  I gained most of my weight in 2nd tri and had one growth spurt with 6 lb gain.  I've gained about 20 total at 33w, and my OB said I was right on track.  After that 6lb jump, I only gained 2 lbs the next time.  Maybe they just normally tell people to watch what they eat more after 20 weeks b/c they figure your food aversions are better.  I didn't touch a salad until week 18!

    @turquoisequeen Meeting the pediatricians went well!  I think we'll go with the one closest to our house - I liked her and it seemed to be the least hectic place.  A big selling point for me is that the after hours line goes directly to the pediatricians instead of a nurse.  

    Most general questions like hours, after hours call line, vaccination schedule, etc...were all answered by them without me even asking.  It was also good to know who would come visit the baby ASAP at the hospital and who would let the doctors at the hospital handle things for the first few days.  

    One question I liked asking about was what they considered their specialty or what topics they were passionate about.  Really, I was fishing to find out what doctors would be sticklers about the usual stuff (which I'm fine with) and which ones would be a bit overly preachy about random things.  For example, I don't want my doctor lecturing me about sleep training or organic foods - not that those things aren't important...but I want the freedom to make my own decisions on things.

    I just had my first appointment at the "normal" ob. We did a 10 week scan and that little pup was rocking and rolling in there! I has no idea there would be so much movement. We were crying.

    I've heard that it can be helpful to see if any potential pediatricians have a wellness waiting area, so that when you bring in LO for regular check ups, they don't get sick from other sick LOs.
