I'm having the worst restless leg syndrome all of a sudden. I tried laying down for a nap this evening and couldn't stop the urge to move my legs. Of course it's after my doc office is closed. What are some things that have worked for you if you struggled with this your third trimester? I don't want to take anything but I'm desperate to try something so I can get some sleep tonight.
I second the magnesium suggestion! My husband's been taking it for years for RL, and his doctor recommended it (he wad on Rx drugs before). It's working for me too during pregnancy. Good luck!
Warm baths, putting Vicks on the back of your knee (it helps me some of the time) cold or hot pack helps ease the twitching as well. I have it bad as well and I've now learned to just roll over on to the side were my leg is bothering me and ignor it..
Ditto what everyone else said. Definitely try a magnesium supplement. It made a world of difference for my H. Also tonic water, stretching & massage have all helped him. GL!
