When the baby drops...

Hi Ladies!

I am a FTM and 36+3 days. I've read different things about when your baby drops. They say if its your second pregnancy it happens when you go into labor and for your first pregnancy it can happen weeks before you go into labor. I guess i'm curious as to what some experienced moms have gone thru with their pregnancies. Is it something I should expect to happen soon? Does it happen over night? Will I definitely know that its happened?

I know everyone is different, jut looking for opinions or experiences.

With both of my pregnancies I couldn't see any kind of change in my belly, just started having more pelvic pain and having to go to the bathroom more often. My baby dropped a few weeks ago and is, according to my OB, extremely low. No labor for me yet.
