Ftm I'm 1 day over my due date. Lost mucus plug this morning but not contracting enough to time just having mild like period cramps & back ache. Just wondering how long it took some of you to go into actual labor after losing your plug?
Unfortunately losing your plug dose not mean labor is close. Some women will lose there plugs weeks prior to labor. In my last pregnancy, I lost my plug and was 3cm dilated, by 38 weeks. I still didn't go into labor until 42 weeks. Your baby is ready when it's ready.

MP regenerates. So it doesn't mean much to lose it. Also, everyone's labor is different. So, no amount of information from asking anyone else's experiences can actually help you.
You could go into active labor at any time. Just sit back & relax.
I'm aware. My question was how long did it take some of you to start labor after losing it.
With DD-- I lost pieces at 35 weeks & 37 weeks. She came at 39 weeks.
With DS-- lost some of it at 38 weeks & he was born at almost 42 weeks.
Again-- my answers mean nothing for your individual situation. You could have 100 people say I went into labor 5 minutes after I lost my MP. It won't matter for you one bit. :-??
