Intro/So happy I found this board!

Hey there, fellow single parents! I am 29w2d with my first and obviously, single. I can't believe I am just now finding this board, it would have been extremely encouraging and helpful earlier in my pregnancy!

I ended the relationship with my BD before I found out I was pregnant, due to him being a shoddy human being/drug addict/cheater cheater pumpkin eater. We are on civil terms but he went AWOL during the first five months of my pregnancy, not checking in on his unborn daughter until December. So, he's not "involved" with me but *swears* he will be involved with our daughter, pay child support, and even co parent with me. I'm off work due to a blood pressure/heart condition caused by the pregnancy, so I'm living with my mother and going crazy. I joined my Bump birth club but didn't discover this board until today, and I am so glad I did. I'm a bit discussion-board challenged and have a hard time navigating/understanding the community. I really want to participate, though, so I'm going to try and would appreciate any tips!

Anywho! I'm not sure what else to say except I am glad you are all here, and I'm glad I found you!
