I have developed a theory, at least in my town, that significantly more girls are born in the summer. In my group of friends and family I can immediately list 10 girls under 5 years old who have summer birthdays. I can list zero boys. On the flip side, I can list 5 boys being born this coming February and just one girl born in January. Has this been true for anyone else?
Off the top of my head... My brother's birthday is in June. My husband's is July. My male cousin's birthday is August, and I have two uncles in June. And that's just the family I see on a regular basis. So... No.
Haha we have said before there must be something in the water here! Another weird thing is at our church we have had 9 girls born in the last 4 years and just one boy.
Of my family and friends, I'm counting one boy in May, two boys in July, 2 boys and 1 girl in August, 1 boy and 1 girl in November, and 1 boy each in December, January, and February.

There are 5 other friends/acquaintances due within a week of me, June mama. Of the 6 of us 3 are due with boys,2 are due with girls, and I am team green. So either a tie breaker or more boys. In my family my dad, 2 brothers, and 2 male cousins all born in the summer.
I don't think there's really any rhyme or reason to gender and month babies are born. My oldest son was born in December. My daughter in October. This baby is a boy and is due June 3rd. My dad's birthday is in July. My husband's birthday is memorial day.
I see your point when thinking about it because my SO has no summer birthdays at all let alone boys. Our little one is a boy and due July 16 though, and the males in my family born Spring /summer. but I do feel like more girls are born in summer.
Oh no. I don't like this theory. I'm waiting on this little boy to be born... yesterday was my due date... everyone thought he was going to come early and he didn't.
If it's possible for a pregnancy to last 12 months, I'm pretty sure mine will be the one to do it!
I don't get why this is even a question. My husband was born June 22, my grandfather July 4, my cousin August 1, and countless other friends/random men born during the summer.
But I have noticed no girls are born in March...oh wait, just kidding that's when my birthday is.
