I have 'em bad. Any advice besides the usual creams and such?

Take stool softener. Lots of water. Do overdo the fibre or it'll have the opposite effect. Tucks pads. Sometimes they can be pushed back with your finger (gross, but it can majorly help so they're not throbbing).
