Daycare options in South Boston

Has anyone done any research? We looked into Bright Horizons and for 9 hours+/5days a week it was $3,200/month. I'm finding it impossible to find any other centers in the Southie/Seaport areas. If anyone could share what they have found, I would be so appreciative. I'd love to do a nanny share too, but I am due in August and haven't found anyone that is looking that far out yet.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Daycare options in South Boston

That's crazy! I work near the Bright Horizons and had no idea it was that much. There is also a day care at the federal courthouse, but I'm not sure if it is just for courthouse employees.

Do you live in South Boston? I'm due in September but won't need daycare until the beginning of 2016. We live outside the city but work in South Boston so I'm interested in the options around there as well as nanny share.

So the one in Seaport is actually slightly lower ~$3,000/month. We originally went to the one in Beacon Hill in my husbands office building.
