Hello! 25w5d today. I can now feel where she is by pushing down on my belly, which is a new level of fun - makes it seem more real to me that there's a human in there. I've been feeling much better aside from bad heartburn.
I had my shower last weekend with a small group of friends. It was perfect! I ate way too much cake and candy.
QOTW: I'm checking in on the other place, but I can't access it from work right now and TB is easier to navigate around so I've been lurking here more. I hate how XO has handled all of this and completely understand people leaving. I've left behind my BMB page, but for me the IF boards are not just about the community but about offering support and advice to new people that come in. I was so depressed and lost when I first posted on 3T, it makes me sad to think how things would have gone if no one was around to help me back then. So I think it's important to still check in on the IF-related boards here.
Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!! Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545 -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
I guess I can finally do one of these right?! I'm 9w today with one little one on the way. I graduated from my re a few days ago and have my first obgyn appt on the 29th. The lo's heart rate was 175 yesterday. It's truly amazing.
QOTD: I work I high stress job with tons of drama and craziness going on all the time. I don't do stress or drama in my home life. So that's why I'm not getting involved. But I do see everyone's points.

I'm 26w1d with twins today - that makes me exactly 6w out from the day that the amniotic sac broke on my little boy. I'm on hospital bed rest until delivery now, still leaking, but holding strong with no signs of infection or early labor. My MFM took measurements on both babies this weekend, and I'm happy to report that both the boy and the girl are growing at a healthy weight.
I'm so relieved to have made it past the age of viability, so I could get the first set of steroid treatments. Now, I'm just trying to keep them cooking for as long as possible (or until 34 weeks, when the risk of infection becomes greater than the risk of early delivery).
QOTW: I found the bump and joined the IF board after suffering an early m/c following IVF#1. I wish I had found it sooner, to help me through my initial IF testing, and my failed IUIs. The support and information that I received made my D&C, my next IVF cycle and all of the waiting in between so much easier to bear. More recently, the overwhelming support that I received from PAIF when I had my truly frightening experience with PPROM, brought a lot of light to some very dark days.
I am not yet ready to abandon the community that has helped me through so much. I do, however, miss a lot of the special ladies who have moved on. I've been lurking in the new world, and I'll probably set up an account after I get my laptop back, but I also plan to maintain a presence in the old country - and run the FTM check-in on PAIF for those who still want it.
Hi Ladies! I'm 27+ 6 today, so it's my last day in the second trimester. Totally stunned to have made it this far. Things are going pretty well, with lots of baby prep. Little Girl kicks up a storm, which is the most wonderfully reassuring thing in the world. Like, @gsancho, I've been having a ton of very bad heartburn, but I've come up with a management plan that doesn't involve drugs--PM me if you want to hear more!
QOTW: I am on both places, and it breaks my heart. I hate to see this board, in particular, be so devastated by such asinine management. Like @AMShark, I joined after IVF #1 was a loss, and I was in such a terrible place, and this board and these ladies really got me through. It's highly possible I would have given up without this support. Being PAIF/PgAL is also incredibly stressful, so those two boards have been amazing in the last six months. I'll go where my peeps are, so if everyone leaves completely, I will, too.
I also want to say that we PAIF ladies had a convo wondering how we could support you, this board, and the IF board in that other place. We eventually decided to be hands off, but PLEASE let us know if we can do anything for you. I'm rooting for each and every one of you to get your sticky babies and join the SAIF/PAIF community, regardless of who is hosting the boards. ((hugs))
ETA: @ronniesgirl1981 - Thanks for running this. ((hugs)) I stalk you frequently, and I hope you're doing okay.
***Losses mentioned.*** TTC #1 since May 2012. Me: 37, OH: 41. Ectopic August 2012 => tubal damage. Stage 1 endo removed June 2013. Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!
Thanks @pblge. There's not much to stalk these days. We are hoping to get into the March cycle at S/IRM and get this show back on the road. And I am a firm believer that leading this check-in is good luck!
34w4d. Had non stress test and ultrasound today, it's done weekly, I pay $275 each time, thats with insurance, they do these tests to check growth since there's multiples. Girls are great. I am happy to have made it this far. So many articles and posts read where women deliver their twins earlier and spend weeks in NICU. I don't know what happened if someone would like to give me brief summary, i just know that some left board and there was 'silence' ......
@vpine In a nutshell, new TOU came out and somehow at the same time a bunch of mods and longtime posters were banned. Rumbera over on 3T survived the banning and tried really hard to re-establish 3T. I don't know if you've spent any time on 3T, but Rumbera is insanely warm and gracious. She lost her mod privileges and is supposed to be replaced by paid TB staff. My understanding is that other boards lost equally beloved mods. That's a highly condensed version, but the Rumbera thing was the nail in the coffin for many.
I am going to answer my own question. Someone somewhere posted to the effect that if you aren't paying you aren't the customer. You are the product. And the customers weren't happy with the product. I get that. But I totally support everyone who left and think it is a sin what happened especially to the most sensitive boards here (IF, loss, high risk pregnancy...). However, I've come to know quite a bit about DOR and much of it came from reading other women's old posts and siggys. If some weird old post I wrote helps someone get on the take-home-baby route then for me it is worth it to leave everything here.
Sorry for the late check in. Thank you for running these @ronniesgirl1981
40+1 today. Still waiting. Hoping this little one comes soon as we are very anxious to finally meet him/her.
QoTW: I try not to get involved with the drama and all that happened. Yes, I think it was all handled terribly - from our perspective. The reality is there are always at least 2 sides to every story and not knowing firsthand even 1 side it is hard for me to make a determination to leave.
This board, TTC>35, PAIF and PG>35 have been so helpful and supportive to me throughout this entire process and similar to others, if I can be even a little bit of help to someone else out there who has gone through this, I hope to be.
I'm 5w1d today. Hoping to hear a heart beat (or two) on 2/5 or 2/6. In the mean time, I'm thirsty, tired, sometime crabby, sometimes cuddly, and have a variable appetite. Poor DH.
QOTW: I'm mostly checking this board so I can use my experience going through IF to help other people, as the women on 3TC and IF helped me.
IVF#1 (w/ICSI): BCP 9/9-9/23. Gonal-F, Ganirelix, Low-dose HCG (antagonist protocol). 41R/35M/32F... 2 transferred on 10/14, 14 frosties! On cabergoline to help avoid OHSS. BFN, possibly because of 90% drop in estrogen and progesterone a few days after ET.
FET#1: Transferring 2 on January 8. BFP! beta#1 (1/17): 408, beta#2 (1/20): 1310, first u/s scheduled 2/5
