Ok, I have made my final decision on how I feel about staying here. Not good. Every time one of us refreshes the page, it refreshes an ad, and makes this group money. I think S12 is contributing a decent amount of money to a group that made gross, unprofessional missteps.
I was keeping up with what was going on at first but there's a lot of that I didn't know about. After reading all of that I really want to leave. I'm already set up on PB and have the tapatalk app, so it would be a seamless transition for me! And for everyone else, the sign up is super easy. The app takes a bit to get used to, but not too bad!
I'm feeling torn. What they did was really shitty and makes me want to leave. BUT, I'm worried we will lose some people in the process. Our board got REALLY slow awhile back and I think we've recently perked back up and are doing well. I guess I'm worried it just won't be the same. Are we one of the few boards still holding out?
I guess I don't really know what to do. A few people said they can't access PB from work, and that is the main thing holding me back from making the switch. You're not really fucking them if you're fucking yourselves worse, ykwim?
I think we were pretty sheltered from any of the drama over here, but I look at who is running this company https://www.xogroupinc.com/xo-group-company/xo-group-leadership.aspx and wonder how the fuck they let all of this childish crap happen. And reading some of the responses from the high ups, and original founders, and BLAH. In what world does this behavior fly? They're the first to pitch what kind of long lasting strong community of "real people" they have for their advertisers, but seem to not care that the way they deconstructed the community was disgusting.
I think we should ultimately do what serves us best. I am going to create a user account on PB on Monday and maybe download the app just to see what it's like. I don't know if I want to switch or not, but what a poopy company.

If you go to **** (clever!) they have a bunch of communities set up. The BMBs are towards the bottom, and there is one already set up for S12!

I have to agree, after reading that I was not to pleased. especially after the treatment the TTCAL board received. That was my home for sometime and to do that to ladies to who are just trying to support one another, not be snarky, is kind of cruel.
I officially joined the FB group and I suppose i will see if i can set up an account / access the other from my work computer when i am back in the office (working from home due to the weather today). Where ever we decide to move is fine with me - hopefully most if not all of girls will be able to join
I know I don't really go here because I just can't keep up. I don't want to move to PB, I'd love if this all moved to FB. It is so much easier for me to check in and keep up on fb than it is here. April 15 moved to PB and I just can't deal with so many different groups and platforms.
