Not sure if many folks are around anymore, but wanted to hit you ladies up. DD has been fighting naps the past two weekends. Like to the death. She dove out of her crib on Saturday. She'll pass out on me or H, but screams bloody murder in her bed. Goes to sleep just fine at night (knock on wood). Anyone commiserating? Anyone been through this? Can anyone assure me this is just a phase??? She (and I) need naptime. When I do finally get her down she sleeps for 2 hours.

Ugh, DS fights like nobody's business. DS got sick on New Years Eve and for the week after also with cutting his bottom canines. As he started to get better, every time we put him down to sleep he would cry for mama or dada and scream as I walked out of his room. He has gotten a little better. Still takes about 30 mins to fall asleep. I also think he is now cutting his top canines. Such a mess!
No advice except I told DH that he won't be doing this when he is 18. Good luck and I hope you see an improvement soon.

Yes. She's in dc during the week. She's in a pnp there and her naps are hit and miss. I've tried earlier and later for her naps.
It seems as long as she's on the couch she'll nap at home. My mom watched her today and she slept for almost three hours on the couch. She had tried to move her to bed but as soon as she went to put her down she woke and cried so back to the couch and she was happy.

My son sleeps like an angel at night but fights naps like crazy. He'll go down between 6:45-7:30 pm and will sleep 11-12 hours at night, but the only way he'll nap is nursing to sleep or when he falls asleep in the car. Even that is hit or miss and there isn't a consistent time.
