Maternity Pictures

Hi ladies! How far along were you when you did maternity pictures? This is my first pregnancy, and we are having twins. I have absolutely no idea how quickly twin bumps get. The photographer we set on is moving, so we either need to do them next week (at 24 weeks) or at the end of February (probably at 29 weeks). Is it too early to take them now? Thanks!

Mine were at 24 weeks and It was perfect imo. I was the same size as most singleton pregnancies when they do their photo shoots later on and I wasnt uncomfortable standing and not swollen from Pre-E yet.

I was 28 almost 29 weeks when I got mine at the end of November! I have had a very easy pregnancy though, so I would say it depends how you are doing and feel. You want to be big enough where you have that cute bump for them!

I was 27 weeks. It was perfect for me. But if I had waited another week or 2 I think I would have been bigger than I would have liked.

I'm a photographer (and obviously have twins) and suggest 34w+ for singletons, but really anytime after 26/27 is fine for multiples

My belly was large and in charge at 28w and I'd finally stopped throwing up all day (I had HEG) so 28w was perfect for me. You'll just want to make sure you take a LOT of water with you- it's exhausting, maybe take a little granola or something, too. Waiting until Feb would be totally fine- I wouldn't schedule for RIGHT NOW.

Make sure the photographer you work with understands that you'll need to take some breaks and have fun!
