hcg and early pregnancy

Just a quick question moms... What was your Hcg pretty early. I'm baaaarely 3 weeks pregnant. Just conceived on the 4th and my Hcg is already over 7000. Wasn't sure if there was a correlation with multiples or not. Thank you! First draw was 904. I know it's not a sure sign just asking other moms of multiples what theirs was so early..

Mine at 17dp was around 2,600. It was 1000 more than what my singleton was around the same time. I did not think I was having twins.

I'm not further along than I think. I have an ultrasound Thursday, I was just curious. I was charting ovulation because we were trying. And marked down when we had sex and I just got a negative 2 weeks prior. So I know I conceived on the 4th.
With my first I conceived on the 14th and tested positive on the 22nd.

If you are barely 3 weeks pregnant, I'm not sure there will be much to see on an ultrasound this early. Why are they doing one at 3-4 weeks? Most u/s show a yolk sac and pole around week 5 and a heartbeat sometime between 6-7. My betas were in the high-ish range (see sig) but like mentioned above it is not a definitive indicator of multiples. Either way, keep us posted and congratulations on your pregnancy. I hope it is a happy and healthy 9 months!

My first beta was 14dpt, or 16dpo.  It was 924.  With my first, my first beta at the same time was 209.  We did transfer 2 on day 3.  One very good one just ok.   I know this was not an indicator for multiples, but considering we did transfer 2, I wasn't completely surprised to find out it was.  7000 sounds insanely high to me!

I'm confused as to the 3 wks pregnant...you've barely implanted if you're 3 wks. For my FET cycle, RE wouldn't even check a beta til 4w1d (hence the 2ww). An ultrasound at <4 wks likely won't show you anything yet, as @zazu13‌ mentioned.

My betas are in my siggy, but as everyone else said, they're not an indicator of multiples.

You technically have not missed your period. Is that right? Do you work in healthcare? Just wondering how you already had a beta. Most doctors will not do a beta until a missed period (bad practice).

High betas are associated with molar pregnancies.

I don't know what my numbers were at 4 weeks but my Dr did mention that they were pretty low ( she said it was probably just early) jokes on me, I'm expecting twins in June-

I know my doctor outside of "the office" he just wrote me up a slip for blood on Saturday. And because I've had multiple miscarriages he did one for Sunday too. I'm having another one done Thursday instead of the ultrasound. I know I wouldn't see anything... The office scheduled it not me. That's why I asked to do the blood instead again on thursday. With my first we did a u/s at like 4 weeks and it was a sac and a spec lol. So were doing an ultrasound Tuesday instead where I will again see a spec and a sac ifffff I'm lucky. And I don't have a regular period because I was nursing my daughter. We stopped in November.. I bled when we quit for a week long (obviously from not nursing anymore) then again a week later so I can't go off a period standpoint. Because I haven't bled since then. But between those bleeding episodes I didn't ovulate. And I even tested twice to make sure I wasn't pregnant and that's why I wasn't ovulating.

I looked up molar pregnancy and I don't have any symptoms. I don't even feel pregnant.

Yup I said 2 days later just because it was pretty far apart. Saturday's draw was at 8a and Sunday night at 630 after we ate. (The hospital lab) he got the results last night and text them to me. I was in the office today and that's when I scheduled the Thursday draw and Tuesday sono.

Being that you are irregular right now, I would suspect your dates are off or maybe the doctor texted the wrong number. I'm assuming these were stat labs since you got the results over the weekend.

If you are literally just 10dpo, your doubling time is astronomical. Given that it takes days to a week for the blast to travel and implant, the dates/numbers don't add up. I would seek clarification when you talk to the doctor or nurse.

Is the doctor that gave the draw order your ob or just a friend doing a favor? Either way, I hope all goes well for you. Please update us cause I for one am curious.

It's is my ob. And the results were stat. I had them within an hour. My dates can't be off because I had the flu for 8 days between Christmas and new years and my husband and I didn't have sex for the longest time. (I was charting). When I talked to him about my dates he didn't seem concerned at all. Just said I was early pregnancy and we'd wait for the next draw and my u/s. Thank you. I do a lot of research and this has me baffled.
Plus I never ovulated in December... I tested/charted every day.

No he didn't say anything about either really... Other than he said he didn't expect my numbers to be that high but that was it and that we'll see Tuesday!

Any update?  What did the u/s show?

It's tomorrow. I said above I was doing another draw on Thursday instead and a u/s on Tuesday. I'm anxious!! Still don't feel any different. Little bloated after I eat but that's all.

It's seriously so early we were barely able to pick up a spec. I knew my dates weren't off 4 weeks 1 day today. I'm trying to attach a picture of the only thing we could pick up.

But mobile won't let me.

I scheduled again in 3 weeks for another ultrasound to see what we've got going on in there hoping to have a heartbeat!

Thank you. I forgot to mention I had another hcg test awhile back and it was 73,xxx something I think.
(I've had 2 losses and I was just slinking back into that dark place and asked them to check with my prenatal panel blood work)
Only 2 weeks to go to find out this belly fate!!
