Since @sailorgal got her BFP (yea! yea! yea!) and moved on I will be taking over the weekly check-ins. Feel free to make some suggestions for future QOTW or they just might just disappear

DH made tacos for dinner. Chicken and veggies, with fresh guacamole. Yum! I made buffalo chicken dip for the OSU game but I don't think I'll be awake when it starts.
CD 28. I'm not testing though. Chances are super slim without intervention. I should start AF by Wednesday.
QOTW: Italian Pot Pies. An old Martha recipe from her old Food Everyday magazine. It's awesome!
CD2 since my FET was cancelled last week for ovulating through BCP and lupron. Now I have to decide if I start BCP again tomorrow to potentially do the transfer in February (although at the end of the month). Only changes will be a different BCP and upping lupron to 20 iu per day for the entire duration! Holy heck! I'm not sure how I will be able to function on that much lupron. I'm just not getting a good feeling about this at all...
QOTW: Not sure what's for dinner! I guess I will see when I get home! But, I think tonight will be a chilli night!
~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~

FF says 6dpo, but that puts O the day of my positive opk :-? It's my first month temping in years, so who knows. Had my genetic consultation for PGS today, then met with the RE business office to get that shit in order before starting stims next week. Walked out hella confused bc apparently PGS adds $6k instead of $2k and oh, also isn't covered by insurance ~X( I've got 50% coverage and a lifetime max of $15k. Needless to say I've got several calls in and am just hoping the lady who was filling in for the regular business office lady just had no fucking idea what she was talking about.
Dinner was homemade spaghettios, bc yum, and chicken.
Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation

NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015.
RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal.
QOTW: I made crock pot BBQ shredded beef for DH and DS because I had to work the swing shift, which doesn't end til 11:30. Apparently they instead went to MILs for the game and snacks.
So glad I bent over backward to make them dinner. OR it was shit and they bailed. Which I should forgive. Hmm.

Wow yeah to find out PGS is that much more would be quite a shock. I think my place quoted almost $5K for it. I hope you find a way to make it happen if you decide to pursue it
And holy cow stim next week???? Where da fuq have I been? Under a GD rock apparently. So exciting!!!!!!!

On TTC break until IVF prep in March. CD 21 (or 5--does two days of spotting from the 6 bcps I took while trying to decide whether or not to cycle count as AF?) I may or may not have ovulated sometime earlier this month--no idea what's going on in there, and even though DH and I are having a lot of sex just in case, I don't really care.
Chicken from Trader Joe's and a salad. We're generally being good about prepared foods, though.

QOTW: Pho soup for us homemade macaroni and cheese for the little ones.
Omg I love Pho. Do you make it yourself or are you going out? Please tell me you have a recipe!
I wish there was a place to get pho out here, but no we have to make it.The easiest way is to take some beef bones and boil them to make an awesome broth. Then add rice stick noodles, I also get some inexpensive beef and slice it thin and also add bean sprouts and any other desired vegetables such as celery. To make the brother you need to boil the bones in water and pho spices such as ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, star anise, cloves some like fennel too, I also add for flavor some sriracha, a dash of soy sauce, and limes and my husband also likes cilantro in his bowl at the end. If you prefer you can also add a dash of fish sauce or hoisin sauce. As for the chunkier spices you can put them in large tea ball or mesh bag or you can scoop them out with a ladle though that is tough. I like to leave the bones, spices and the water boiling for at least a couple of hours. I get it to a rapid boil and then let it simmer/boil for many hours for the best flavor. A bone soup base is also excellent if making homemade wonton soup too

CD 12 and follie scan this morning showed nice thick lining, a 27mm follie on the left and 22mm on the right. IUI tomorrow morning, our first one. So nervous. This is after finding out from my OB that our chances at natural conception and a sticky baby are 12-15% with ovulation induction and IUI. The low numbers are due to my ovulatory dysfunction, and my history. But our chances with IVF are estimated at 70% so we are just doing IUIs until we have our finances ready to move forward with IVF.

who told you that statistic? your RE? whoever did should be tarred and feathered. the average success fate of IVF is 33% per cycle. period. money-grubbing REs that spout these insane statistics make my blood boil. and undoubtedly will only make you feel like shit when it doesn't work the first time. because you think "wow, i am the 30% failure rate" when in fact you are the majority.

I think their clinical data says 47% chance of success per cycle for all their patients under 35 for a SET, and 70-75% for transferring two embryos. My AMH is 6.84, LH 6.1 and FSH 6.4, and antral follicle count of 20. They said those were really good numbers and that I have a high chance of success. Where is the 33% per cycle data? I want to read up on it and figure out what's going on.
You do have a higher rate of success with PGS/CCS tested embryos and a FET.
The high numbers in the article you sent are from the clinical pregnancy rate, the actual implantation rate is lower and I would be interested in the live birth or take home baby rate? Those are not listed in the link you sent?
Plus sadly someone recently said they have transferred genetically tested embryos and still not had success. So nothing is absolute.
That being said I am very envious of your CD 3 numbers! WOW!
Good luck with everything

I know it's not a done deal, for sure. But I have to maintain hope because this is our only shot unless I can convince DH to spend $2700 for a FET if this fails and he has already said one shot only. So I may end up heartbroken, but I have to have hope or there's no point in trying. As for my CD 3 numbers, I hope they're a good sign because that's about all I've got going for me lol
I'm a little late checking in but I've been enjoying the relative quiet of suppression on BC pills. I'm on cycle day14 and day 12 of BC. I should be starting Lupron on Tuesday.
Dinner tonight will probably be a grazing scrounge kind of meal as we have church from 4:15-7:30 and it's always a little crazy. Eat what you can, when you can.

I'm way late on the check in, and I'm a newbie to this thread. I had been doing the KUWMO. I'm month 17 here. I had some wonky "cycles" some as long as 6 months, so I gave up and started going by months. Good news is I had a period in a somewhat normal time frame, so I'm optimistic this cycle
Dinner - Loaded baked potatoes
Sept 2013 started TTC#2 (never got PP period so hoping for the first egg to drop)
Jan 2014 - diagnosed POF (Premature Ovarian Failure) and told pregnancy not possible without egg donor because my ovaries would never function again with my hormone levels (FSH 136, LH 98.6, AMH <.03, estradiol 0, HCG 7) - using acupuncture, chiropractic care and TCM herbs / supplements
March 11, 2014 ovulated despite every doctors prognosis!!!

I hope the IUI went well, @Jodee37!

My Ovulation Chart
