Seriously. I have never needed a vacation this badly. At this point I would settle for a an hour to myself.
-Its too f-ing cold.
-After being so well yesterday, Charlie puked at dinner today, then begged for all the food.
-C has 1 canine just barely poking through, 2 more bulging.
-Pretty positive T is beginning to teeth too. How is he old enough for that???
-T is even more congested. lots of steam, vicks, suctioning, and not sleeping well.
-My MIL makes me crazy
-Its almost 1am, and T is still not down for the night. Not unusual.
-DH leaves in the morning for a business trip. To Costa Rica. I'm on my own until Saturday.
-Just found out that DH's "girlfriend" (not really, I can explain later) is the one taking him to the airport at 5 am.
I might need to learn to like coffee.

It's 11 here in CA, and DH and I just watched The Interview. There were way more funny parts than I expected. Still pretty dumb though.

Ariana is awake. She's been awake since 12:40 and is not showing any signs of falling asleep anytime soon. She wants to play. I need to be up at 6:15 tomorrow and my kid doesn't want to sleep. Plus BIL is here so she's keeping him up too.
So... I guess 6:30 is as good a time as any to start laundry!
Ben fell off our bed last night, and now he had a bruise on his nose. He was climbing in and out of the laundry basket earlier in the day and fell and split his lip. Friday, he was running at dc and fell and bruised his knee. I feel like this is just the beginning of a long line of bumps and bruises. Our kids really are getting so grown up.

As I was the one who had taken her yesterday morning and gone with her to toddler drumming/get lunch from awesome neighborhood sandwich place so BF could sleep in until 11:30…I thought it would be only fair for him to at least let me wallow in bed today (and only until 8 because we're off to target courtesy of @jamis1284 PSA from yesterday).
Which he did, but with such bad grace I was tempted to confront him about it. But it's not my hill to die on. He is simply not a morning person and I get that. I guess all I want is appreciation from him that it's also not MY idea of an ideal morning to get up at the asscrack of dawn but I do it 6 out of 7 days anyway.
@mrshudson618 and here I am complaining about the work associated with ONE kid. You are my hero.

We are up super early this morning. Allison is up and running around like a crazy girl.
We have a busy day with church, grocery shopping and heading over to the ILs for DHs birthday day. Definitely not looking forward to that last one.

I'm off today and DH went in early so he should be done around 2. Then we have our last christmas celebration at my aunts.

@MRads I threaten to wrap P in bubble wrap on a daily basis.
We ended up taking P to the ER last night. He was coughing almost nonstop to the point where he was choking and gagging. Pedi said to bring him in for a chest xray just to be sure. It looked good, so basically we're just waiting it out.
Thankfully we live like 3 minutes from the hospital bc apparently the heat gave out on my car. It was fine on Friday. Our mechanic can't get it in till Saturday, so we're down to one car.
And I have no voice. This junk needs to go!
Who'd have thought that canine teeth would be this bad? Aren't they pointy? Shouldn't they just erupt, quickly? Poor babies.
We are on our way to church, then to run errands (mainly returns from Christmas), then home in time for lunch and naptime for DS. I plan on going for a long run during nap, watch out fitbit faction!

Ty has been congested and snotty for 2 weeks now. I've went through so many boxes of tissues!
DH and I have had several conversations about how long I plan to bf Ty. Awhile ago (probably when ty was just turning 1) he asked when I was going to stop and that he thinks it would be weird after 1&1/2. Well that's just 4 days away and there are no signs of ty wanting to stop.
I asked him why he thought it was weird and he couldn't give me an answer. I'm anticipating the topic to be brought up soon
My initial goal was a year and now I'm just going with the flow. Ty refuses cows milk. He loves loves loves boobs and I'm not taking them away from him!

I think we are in the teething club too. A is usually a great sleeper. She was up screaming at 9 PM and 6 AM. Both times, she went back to bed, so that is good, just unlike her. She's also asking for paci during the day, usually she's good without it after bfast. She still only has 5 front teeth and 2 molars. I think she is working on her last upper front tooth and a molar on bottom.
We are cuddling on the couch watching Sesame Street. This is the first time she's ever really shown interest. Off to church soon. We haven't been in forever, so looking forward to it.
Bacon is the only choice.
I'm so irritable today. At everyone and everything. It's a lot me so let me preface that but DH seems frustrated that I'm leaving LO here after putting him down for a nap so I can go teach Sunday school with DS without a screaming toddler in the room. LO keeps sticking his little ice cube fingers down my shirt and I don't like it. DS's cough won't go away and we have been to the doctor 4 times for it.... He can't have his dental surgery until it's gone.
Ugh. I'm just having a rough day with nowhere to vent. This is no ones fault just my feelings. There are much bigger and far worse problems than mine in this world.
Unless Ty's breast-feeding is negatively affecting your H or your relationship it's really not up to him to make that decision for you. Maybe show him the WHO recommendations and one of the Kellymom articles on the benefits of extended BFing?

@andrea0418: I'm not sure why your husband gets a vote? I think it's up to you how long you do or don't nurse (if at all even). I think you should do what you feel is right & your husband needs to get over himself.
We just woke up (well Alex and I) at 8:30am. He's just chilling out on the boob wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket with me. Abby is asleep with her mountain of stuffed animals. H had to run to the lab because of the freezing temps have frozen two pumps. Hopefully they aren't busted!
We are having lunch with a friend today then home to cuddle, read & watch movies. Hoping all the babies nap so mamas can relax a little.

Hugs to you too. The only reason I am going to bring it up with her is because of Alex. When they cancel or shorten visits with us because of my sisters it isn't fair to him. It is just not right.
Hugs and coffee to everyone that needs them. I "forgot" to register the kids for a swim meet this morning.....I think dh might try to take them, I will use lo as my excuse to not go......I wouldn't get to watch anywsys because I'd be chasing after her.....
