Hubby and I have a 4 y.o. son, who we did not have to "try" to conceive. We came off birth control and that was it, our little JoJo was born happy & healthy 06.05.2010. Fast forward to Feb 2013, we decided it was time for another. Since it was so easy with our son, we had no reason to think otherwise...It wasn't until Jan 2014 that I got my BFP, which was short lived. About a week later, I had a natural miscarriage. We were heart broken. My body did not return to normal after the miscarriage. My hormones were a little off, and my ovulation was always too early. We enlisted the help of a specialist. After labs and testing, I was placed on Letrozole (no trigger shots, no US, no IUI, no additives) My third cycle with Letrozole was the lucky one for me. I got my BFP on 12.20.2014-Merry Christmas to us!!! I took a second test on 12.22.2014, then called the doctor's office. I got in for HCG & progesterone levels that day (HCG 175, Progesterone was over 40). I returned for HCG on 12.24.2014 and they had more than doubled (380)!!!!! Due to my history, they wanted to get me in for an early US. Hubby and I went in yesterday (very nervous) and left in shock & amazement. At 6wks, 3 days we were able to see TWO healthy heartbeats!!!! We are over the moon excited, but still in a bit of shock & obviously nervous.
Our biggest source of concern at this point is that one of the gestational sacs was noticeably smaller than the other, and the doctor wasn't in for us to ask any questions, we only saw the US tech. Did anyone else with multiples have this happen? The tech just indicated that this would be something we would be monitoring, but she didn't sound concerned. Any insight or experience would be appreciated!
Re: Introduction: I'm over the moon, and yet very reserved about it!

Just a quick update. I have heard back from the doctor, he is not concerned at all with the gestational sac size difference. He said that since the babies are measuring about the same size and both with strong heart beats, that as long as they both continue to grow at a steady rate then all is well.
Just an update, for those searching the boards in the future. (I always hate it when someone starts a thread with an issue I can relate to, but you never know how it ends up.)
I went in for an US at 13 weeks and found out that baby B had stopped developing, and had no heart beat. We are devastated about the loss of another sweet baby, but at the same time we are relieved that baby A is healthy and strong.
All advice given based on lengthy personal experience.
