Post-partum girdle?

I was wondering if anyone has used a post partum girdle before to help with reshaping your body after baby; I'm also wondering if there are AFFORDABLE options available that you know of.

    I had/have issues with my belly being flabby (wasn't before pregnancy). My dr told me to buy a belly band a size smaller and wear it to help put things back. I paid $17 at target

    Right after I had my son I wore a shapewear-type of thing that slipped on like high-waisted shorts (I think I got it from Nordstrom), and it definitely helped give the feeling that things were being held together so to speak hahaha I don't know if I'll be using one again since this time I'll be coming out of a more active pregnancy/better toned pre-pregnancy belly, but I'm also not getting rid of the stuff I have on hand just in case I need a little help in the beginning. 
    And yep, Target does have some good and affordable options for things like that (usually kept near the maternity part of the underwear section).
