I know I don't post often in spam, but I have a question I hope you guys can help me with. I'm going out to dinner in the city tomorrow night with DH and getting my makeup done at Sephora first, since I have a gift card. I have to spend $50 on products, but do I tip the makeup artist? I'm reading yes and no on the Internet.

I totally forgot that people are idiots and let off fireworks tonight. If they wake LO up (who already sleeps terribly enough, thank you very much) - GROWL. I'm imagining saying that in the way that LO tells me what lions say ;-)
@Lizzybizzy80 I'm playing trivia crack tonight too! And I was wondering why none of my opponents were playing their turns....then I remembered it's NYE.
Play meeeee! DH was beating me 5-0. I had no idea he was so good at trivia and it was kind of sexy.

Should I tip? Thanks!!
I don't think you tip in these situations. I've only gotten my makeup done a few times and not in a really long time, but I think it's customary to buy a few things, which you're planning on doing. My mom is getting me a gift card to Sephora for my birthday and I'm going to get my makeup done and pick out new stuff. I can't wait!
I turned 35 a few weeks ago so I'm thinking now is a good time to update my makeup and get some tips. I'm excited!
Okay I have thirty seconds so here it goes -little lady is latching beautifully. My milk came in today. However if I don't feed her asap she freaks out and goes into panic mode and refuses to latch. I basically have to calm her down so either she passes out and then goes into panic mode again or freaks out and the only way I can calm her down enough to latch is if I give her a little bit of a bottle. Unfortunately my body doesnt respond to a pump. At least not now and therefore I have to give her some formula. This morning she refused to latch without the bottle so we did skin to skin the entire day and by an hour of doing it she latched without it. Another problem is that she is attached to me and refuses to even go to dh so I really don't get a break. I took a 10 min shower today and she freaked out with dh so I had to calm her down with the bottle to get her to latch. Its really frustrating. I don't ever get a break and she wants to nurse all the time.
Big huge hugs! Breastfeeding is definitely a mind trip. I definitely had a little leech of a baby. He only recently started really being excited about going to DH, so for the first year-ish, I was *it*. Hopefully DH is being awesome with B so you can relax and spend the time you need with N, which it sounds like he is.
I vividly remember one of my first showers when LO was awake - DH came in with the crying baby and I finished super quick so I could just sit and nurse him while I dried off. I hated to not even be able to make it through a freaking shower, but it does get better!
It took me several long sessions with the pump to get anything of note - totally normal. Hopefully now that your milk is in things will balance out and get easier. I'd definitely recommend pumping daily (I did it after LO's first feed of the morning - once he only consistently took one breast, it was easier to just pump the other side while he fed) and having DH give N a bottle. I started doing that, but it quickly fell by the wayside and I retrospectively kick myself for it. If DH can get in on that food reward cycle, it'll help take some pressure off of you.
@LimaBeanMOM the third day when milk comes in is the worst! N was struggling all day a couple days ago because I was so full. Get in a hot shower if you can and try to express a bit. I'm just past it now and latching has gotten much easier again. You are doing great!!!
Also, I'm sorry your MIL wasn't helpful. Hugs, lady.
that is exactly what I was going to suggest. The day my milk came in I was in tears. My brother and his girlfriend had just stopped by unannounced, M wouldn't latch when I tried to nurse her in the living room and she was freaking out. I finally had to excuse myself to my bedroom to cry and then tried to self express a bit so that she could actually latch on. It was a horrible day but it got much better after that. That was also the day I bought a pump. I pumped after each nursing session just to keep my breasts emptied. After a few days my supply started to regulate and I quit using the pump on a regular basis.
I just finished the Marco Polo series on Netflix. I already recommended it but now that I finished it I'm highly recommending it!!! I couldn't stop watching it.
Every pedi appt seems to jinx us with A's sleeping. She usually STTN but for the past two nights has been up at 2 or 3 am crying. Never fails her sleep is crap after these appts when I say that she sleeps good. Im afraid to go in there and restart the crappy nights we used to have like this....sleep baby sleep I just went to bed 2 hrs ago
Also I danced my ass off last night! Between airport walking and the concert, I clocked in 17,359 steps on my fitbit!! Plus I woke up with almost 2000! That's a lot of steps!
We had a lovely night with a bunch of friends last night. At one point there were 4 littles under 3 running around my house and they played together so cutely! Everyone was gone by 10:30 and I was in bed by 11! More people coming today at noon for brunch. Then blissful calm until Monday!
Good morning bees! DH signed up to run in a 4 mile race this morning and my sinuses were bothering me so we didn't drink anything last night. I fell asleep on the couch and he woke me up at midnight to do the countdown and to kiss. Then we both went to bed.
This morning he is running his race and I am meeting friends for breakfast with KJ.
Re: Auld Lang Spam!
Should I tip? Thanks!!
PS- and why don't you post in spam often?
I'm thinking no tip too. Thanks!

You can do this!

@riansmommie - that picture is priceless. Give it to him in a frame on his 18th birthday
@CL8badB - how are you holding up?
Bad Kermit: pig. I have question. Am I wearing sign that says bother me?
Love the flight of the conchordsy songs
At midnight DH promised me a buttery nipple in my champagne glass.
Win.
Now, if only LO hadn't already been up once tonight ... then I could really have some fun!
