Rather than creating 87 different threads, I've combined all my help pleas into one. Please feel free to answer any or all. Our last name begins with F, is two syllables, and is of Irish/Scottish origin but doesn't sound overly so.
Thanks in advance!
We've narrowed it down to a couple of names should we have a girl. We'll almost certainly go with one of these, so I'm just looking for opinions between the two. (Yes, I know the sometimes negative connotations with Lilith, we're going with the strong female representation.)
One of our boy's name choices is Marcus. I've suggested some middle names, none of which DH loves. (James, Joseph, Tyler, Oliver, Ian.)
We'd like to have another solid option or two in case LO is a boy and we decide he's not a Marcus. Halp?!
A mix from both of our suggestions in no particular order: Thomas Michael Luke Calvin Ethan Zachary Riley Alexander Eric Jacob Hunter Maxwell Antonio Joshua Tristan Benjamin Caleb Cameron Jordan Quinn Henrik

Love Marcus. It is our top boy name. How about Marcus Benjamin or Marcus Alexander?

Add: Andrew, Gabriel
We're pretty much on the same page. Your tosses were my on-the-fences. DH really likes Antonio, but I'm pretty meh on it. That whole cultural appropriation thing. He's of Italian decent but doesn't really look it and I worry about a little Irish-looking kid with a mismatched name.
I like both of the names Andrew and Gabriel. However, we already have a couple of Andrews in the family and I don't want to overdo it. Gabriel I'm not fond of because of a negative association. I hate to be that way, but sometimes it's just hard to get past.
I love Marcus Alexander but was worried we were getting into too many syllables.

Sorry, follow up... We plan on having another. If we were to end up with a Marcus and a Margaret (likely Maggie) is that too matchy of a sibset? FWIW, neither of our names begin with M.
Also to clarify, we wouldn't choose Lilith for the strong woman concept. We think it's a pretty name and prefer it to Lilian/Lillian. We like Lily and while we know it gets used as a standalone FN, would like a less-nickname/more grown up sounding option for adulthood.
Marcus Alexander, Marcus Benjamin, Marcus Cameron all sound nice
Marcus Gregory Marcus Anthony Marcus Philip Marcus Collin Marcus Reid Marcus William Marcus Henry Marcus Edwin Marcus Spencer Marcus Graham Marcus Samuel Marcus Bradley
For a second option I really really like Henrik, it's a great name!!

Thank you all for all the help and suggestions!
I still really like Lilith as well. As secular people (I'm agnostic, DH is an atheist,) with a little known folklore, we're not overly concerned about the meaning. As the meaning isn't well known, and the unlikelihood that peers would look up the name, I don't worry about teasing. FWIW, my name is Christine "believer in Christ" and it certainly doesn't represent my beliefs, but it also doesn't bother me because it's a beautiful name my parents chose for me because they liked the name itself.
I fully expected Margaret to be the more popular option because while it's a classic name, it's also an incredibly popular name right now. Tack Olivia on and everyone's game.
I like Henrik as another option as well! I think it's a strong, less common, but not obscure/weird name. I don't think DH will be on board however, as I'm a big Henrik Lundqvist fan. Not my reasoning for liking the name, but definitely influenced my awareness to its existence.
As for some of the other boy name suggestions; a lot of them are a bit too trendy (as in I see the same suggestions on every thread... Luca/Lucian, I'm looking at you. Benedict, along with every Cumberb*tch out there...) or nms.
Again, I'm grateful, not hateful, and appreciate the suggestions. Keep 'em coming!
