Currently topping my list is that I salivate a lot more now and occasionally, I aspirate some of it and go into a coughing fit at the most awkward of times.
All current pet peeves are related to having a cold:
That icky feeling you get when you've been laying on one side for too long, making the bottom nostril congested, then have to roll over and wait for that nostril to clear.
Coughing all day and night, which leads to the rest of my list
Peeing when I cough
Puking when I cough
Peeing and puking at the same time after a coughing fit
Falling asleep with a cough drop in my mouth, hoping I don't choke on it.
Feeling like I have to pee real bad, go to the bathroom and barely pee at all. Then when I am washing my hands have the feeling of a full bladder again. Little baby pushing on my bladder is not a cute game.
*The drooling is at an all time high right now when I take a nap or wake up in the morning. I do not remember it being this bad.
*Not having to pee until I am completely situated and comfy in bed...and then I do have to pee...like RIGHT THAT SECOND. Getting ready for bed is a whole ritual l for me and not an easy task at 35 weeks.
*Shedding! Pretty much from the moment I found out I was pregnant I lose strands of hair in the shower. Lately it has gotten worse. Thankfully I have a head full of thick hair.
Proud Mom to Kaleigh (14yr) Emma (12yr) and Hanna (7yr)
I'm still very early on, but every night I have to get up to pee. I am sure it's because of all the water I am drinking. And then I have a hard time falling back asleep. Oh well. I guess it's small potatoes in the grand scheme of things.
@mandyreads - that is interesting re the shedding. I also have very thick hair, and a lot of it. Non-pregnant I lose a ton of hair daily - especially on days I shampoo. However since being pregnant I haven't been shedding and my hair is thicker / fuller (which for me is not a good thing since there was already so much of it). I can't wait till post birth when I have heard I will shed like crazy.
mattandlora OMG the peeing and almost puking when I cough is driving me nuts!!!
hikerlady- I am totally a stomach sleeper and this is also driving me nuts. I'm having a really super hard staying asleep at night!
My other pet peeve is that my husband seems to never believe that I'm as tired as I am. Umm hello.. we have a 2 yr old and a 6 yr old.. he works a lot and I work full time and I'm 4 months pregnant. What about that does not sound exhausting????
Another pet peeve: The hubs complaining when he feels sick. "I have a little upset stomach tonight." Please. I've been puking for almost 6 months. I don't want to hear about his little case of indigestion.
