Please see the original book club thread for descriptions. This will be up for 48hrs. And y'all should vote for Flowers in the Attic. **** flowers in the attic won! Yay for all those that made the correct choice **** First discussion will be on the 29th of December for the first 5 chapters (22 in total).
Whatever is picked I will be reading with you guys, I have been silently voting along the way. I need to read a new book OUTSIDE of my current interests. This should help me.

If you've already read the book you can still participate as long as you don't spoil parts for others. We'll set a goal every week and only talk about what happened in the book up to that point. For example if our goal is to read chapters 1-5 we can only talk about the book up to chapter 5.
@JNerd what time is the poll officially done? I want to get all the details clear today so we give people a chance to get the book. The holidays are coming up and I know that people are busy.
Don't forget to check your library. Most libraries have ebooks available for download directly from the website. I got both FITA and Night Circus from my library website directly to my kindle. They automatically expire if you don't renew them so no late fees.
You can download the overdrive app for ebooks and audiobooks from your library as well. I don't know if Night Circus has an audiobook but FITA does. They also automatically expire if you don't renew too. I think it's 21 days until you have to renew. The overdrive app works on any mobile device as well as on a regular computer.
The poll is closed. Flowers in the Attic won! Thank you loyal voters and creepy lurkers who just like to vote on clicky polls.
When do we want to have our first discussion? I think there are 22 full chapters in the book. What should our weekly goal be? How long are we giving ourselves to read the book?
We'll start the discussion on the first 5 chapters on the 29th but the thread can be bumped up all through out the week until the next discussion. That way people who can't make it that day can still participate.
Re: Final book selection - FITA
How long are we going to give ourselves to read each book? I was thinking a month with weekly discussion threads.

If I never hear the phrase "golly gee" again I swear it will still be too soon.
That is all until the 29th.
I am so excited.
