Hey ladies. I'm moving forward with my ttcal journey and currently neck deep in RE appointments. I had CD3 bloodwork Friday, and I have and ultrasound/SIS Monday and hysteroscopy Wednesday. Dh is taking me to my Wednesday appointment and has his SA at the same time. I'm hoping to get my PCOS treated and find out if there's anything else going on.
I hope you're all doing well, and I can't wait to hear updates!
Heeeeey everyone! I write this update bouncing from a stability ball hoping it'll help get contractions going strong! I just got home from a 3mile walk and have just finished eating spicy quesadillas. Next, I'm going to strong-arm my husband into having sex and will wrap up my day with pumping then another walk. Catch the drift? I'm soooo ready to have this baby I'm doing everything I can think of to move things along.
I'll be checking in as this thread fills out because I love hearing what everyone is up to!!!

Hi everyone! I am doing OK. For those of you that missed it I got a BPF about a week and a half ago and while I was very happy at first, the anxiety is really starting to kick in now. This was our testing cycle with the RE and we supplemented with estrace and progesterone. I am 5w1d today and have an u/s at the RE tomorrow to check for a sac and another beta. If everything looks OK I can stop the estrace. I'm trying to take it milestone by milestone for now. We are going to the inlaws for the holidays on Thursday so I will be fake drinking. I'm hoping the trip will be busy and distracting.

Lol peep doing well lots of movements now and i am happy to feel every single one. Even if it is a jab to the ribs.

Im glad to check in on everyone again! @carlsonbaby2014 I hope you are too busy labouring to check back in for a bit!! Come on baby Carlson, everybody wants to meet you!
AFM, I am just a little over 33 weeks. I had my shower last weekend and short of installing the car seat we are pretty much ready for LO to arrive. Hopefully the holidays makes the next couple of weeks fly by. DH and I have decided on a name, and we can't wait to meet baby Brooke!
Hugs, love and happy holidays to ALL of my 'AL ladies!!
I'm just moving right along (almost 34 weeks for those on mobile). We went to our hospital's L&D tour last weekend and it was surreal. And we got a quick peek at the baby during my last prenatal visit.
Our cats are into the holiday spirit and love laying on our tree skirt and staring at the ornaments. Thankfully, they haven't really touched them.
I love seeing everyone's updates!
Edited, hit post too soon.

I'm trucking away at some where between 22 and 23 weeks. (We've been measuring 5 days or so ahead, I just never change my ticker). There have been no more spotting, brown cm scares so that is always a positive
I'm just getting a start on baby girl's room, and trying to enjoy every moment of kicks, punches, dance parties in my ute, heartburn, Running out of room to eat, being uncomfortable all night and wearing leggings every day!
Hi, all! I have yet to participate on one of these thread, but lately find myself not sure yet where I'd like post!
Dylan is now 1 week old and so adorable! The biggest adjustment has been nursing. I am hopeful we have turned a corner and things will be easier, but so far, I question if our latch is good enough and if I'm producing enough. I know this is normal, and I know I need to relax...
Recovering from the c-section has been a lot easier than I anticipated. My H has been awesome and has been on top of me about not doing too much. I am going a bit stir crazy about not being as active, but I also know this newborn time goes by quickly, and I cherish every snuggle moment we get.
I decided to host Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Not much family will be over (maybe 4 for Eve and 9 for Day), but I was thinking it eliminates the need to make rounds with the baby. H informed me today he plans to go back to work Monday before Christmas. Now I'm stressing if I'll get it all together in time...but going to think positively!

Lillian will be 8 week on Thursday. The time has just flown by! She will get her 2 month shots on Friday. I am NOT looking forward to it, but I know it is important and she'll be fine. We been giving her lots of tummy time lately. Some days all she wants to do is roll over and others she just really wants to work towards creeping around. She can pull herself around the mat a tiny bit now. She is smiling a lot more and makes the best faces. Sleep is mostly good at night and she is learning to soothe herself back to sleep when she's tired.
In other news, we are starting to think about where we want to buy a house. We know we want to move north, but we want to start looking into neighborhoods and schools. Our current house is great, but it's about 45min from DH's work without traffic and I'm planning to work in the same district when I go back next year. We are also planning our first couple of trips for next year. Nebraska for DH's grandfather's 80th birthday in May and Canada for the Women's World Cup in June.
Doing okay at 29 & 6 today. My diabetes has been good this pregnancy and I am off my high dose progesterone. My cerclage is still holding. Just out of hospital with influenza, I don't think I've ever been so sick. LO handled it perfect (the point of the vaccine) but mama took it hard. Recovering slowly.
Also at some point in my flu course my baby flipped to breech--still lots of time but makes me wonder if he will stay or turn. I am not a candidate for a version based on my issues but will see. I had a NSVD with DD. If this is a C/S to keep LO safe, I'm down. Whatever!
I'm behind on all things Christmas and work but will head back to work Tues or Weds and then figure it out. I can only do what I can do.
Excited for you @carlsonbaby2014. Good to see the TTCALers too!! Long-distance Hugs to all from the infectious disease tent....

THanks for posting this. DH and I had a long chat last night... We are going to make our follow up appt with the RE this week but aren't sure when we can get in because we are switching doctors... Same office but a different (hopefully more helpful) doctor.
Our likely (self-diagnosed plan) will be Femara alone for 2 months and then IUI for one cycle and then move to IVF. We would start this all in January...
Emotionally I'm a crap shoot... I can't get myself picked back up after our last loss. And I can't figure out what our next steps should be. I'm thankful I have all of you.

Hi ladies! So nice to see so many happy updates! I don't really have any updates. To be honest I've kind of lost track of what cycle we are on but I think we're on cycle 7 or 8 after our fourth loss. The only plan at this point is progesterone if I get a BFP. DH and I are feeling very very discouraged but we are not giving up. My SIL who got married in May is already pregnant and that has been really hard for us. We might be moving to the U.S. next year and if we do, we will try to see an RE ASAP to get connected there, and look into IVF with PGS which is a possible option for us, but is illegal in Sweden at the moment. So unfortunately no good news from here but I am so so happy for all the PgALers and PALers! My heart fills with joy to see these wonderful updates. ((((Hugs))))

Hi everybody! Newly graduated from TTCAL and nervous as hell. I had a beta drawn on Friday and will have another tomorrow. I've been spotting ever so lightly for the past few days so of course I'm freaking out. It's pretty much non existent now, except on occasion I have brown CM. The nurse didn't seem overly concerned, so I'm trying not to be either. I'm trying so hard to be excited about this pregnancy!
In other news, not too much going on. Just trying to finish up my Christmas shopping and just generally trying to take it easy. I have an ugly sweater party to go to next weekend where I get to try and hide the fact I'm not drinking, my favorite game! I was pregnant this time last year too, so I'm pretty good at it @carlsonbaby2014 FX that baby comes soon!

Hello Beautiful Ladies!! I'm so happy to see so many updates from those I adore so much!!
Come on baby Carlson!! Big ((hugs)) @medic7979 and anyone else who needs them. I think of you all so often!
I'm doing good! 21 and 3, trying to keep my focus on Vday and other future milestones. Also trying to enjoy every moment of this pregnancy and while the kicks and jabs really help, I can't help but feel terrified often. We found out we are having a girl which we are thrilled about.
Non TTCAL work is really busy and will continue to be until February so that and the holidays help time to pass quickly.
Hey! I haven't posted in a long time but I miss all of you ladies! I really don't have any thing to update. We're in limbo for everything right now. We've been saving like crazy to build a house but then we found out that our neighbors might be moving so if possible we would rather buy their house. It's a HUGE headache building but waiting on them to decide what they are going to do is about to make me just want to go ahead with building. As far as ttc, I've been on bc since July because my periods got nearly unbearable and I love it. I rarely cramp and have super light bleeding. I figured that there was no reason to suffer every month and still not get KU. I also went to my first baby themed function in about 5 years the other day and didn't even get upset (yay!). DH's sister had a gender reveal party and we found out we are going to have another niece. Zulily is very thankful of this, lol. DH and I did have another adoption talk and decided that is something we still want to do but just not feasible until we either build or buy our neighbors house. On the critter front, Boomer, Maizie, and the goats are doing great! I love threads like this
TTC since 4/28/07 Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.
Still on the TTCAL side of the fence but my OB is positive that I'm menopausal (not pre) based on all of my blood work. Only issue with that theory is I have not had a single month without a cycle yet. This is causing the OB lots of concern since he considers it abnormal bleeding. I have a follow-up in January for more u/s and blood work and a discussion about next steps.
We have talked more about donor egg IVF. I need to make an appointment with an RE and see if that is even a possibility for us at this stage - and should do this before my OB pushes surgery which is what will probably happen in January. Mr. Bug also mentioned wanting to go to Paris. If it comes down between a choice between the two my heart is honestly torn. I've already gone through a failed IVF cycle so I know that spending all of that many brings zero guarantee of a pregnancy and my experience since then lets me know that a pregnancy does not equal baby.
So nice to see all of the updates here! Hugs and hellos to everyone.
All is well here. Reached 18wks today and am feeling good fortunately. Found out over Thanksgiving that we are having a little girl, which we are very excited about, but just excited in general to be at this point. A/S is Dec 29th and we are eagerly awaiting that.
Look forward to seeing more updates from everyone.
I love seeing all of your names in one place. Big hugs to all who need them. Thinking about all of you.
I'm 16 wks now and doing well. Felt LO for the first time and just trying to stay positive.
We are basically finished with the master bath addition we started this summer. So that's really exciting. Looking forward to a few days off to finally move into our master.
I'm 5w4d today, and still pretty nervous about this pregnancy. I had decent betas: 4w: 202, 4w2d: 530, 5w: 2538, so that helped me to feel better, but I'm still worried about everything that could go wrong. I won't have any more blood drawn by my RE, and my u/s is scheduled for 12/23. Then, I'll *hopefully* be released to my OB.
It was great to read everyone's updates!
TTC since July 2012 BFP 5/22/13. Lap. to remove ectopic and dx with endo. 6/16/13

@snegde & @Hawkward the heart heaviness of AL for others doesn't go away. It's like you're excited for yourself but now it's why me and not them instead of why them and not me. Vicious nasty cycle.
John will be 5weeks tomorrow. Time flies & I'm starting to feel more confident as a parent. I go back to work Jan 20th, so still a few weeks to go. Still very surreal that John is here. My ob f/u is thurs, it should be boring and my csect limitations should be lifted.
BFP#4 3/17/14 - rainbowBaby BOY arrived 11/10/14 !!
Hi everyone! I love seeing all these updates. Hugs to anyone that may need them.
I'm 22 weeks now and things are starting to feel real. We had our a/s 2 weeks ago and are thrilled that everything came back to be normal and healthy with our baby boy. We are starting to get the nursery ready and exploring child care options.
I am just one test away from finishing my masters program. Graduation is on Friday!!! It has been a long two year especially while coping with 3 losses during that time, but the school stress can now be completely gone in a few days!

Hi y'all! Loving all the updates!! Lilly is 20 weeks old! She is pretty much sitting up on her own, teething and is attempting to scoot across the floor! (Crawler before too long ) She just recently had a well baby visit and we found out that she is indeed lip-tie, but not bad enough to get snipped. Lilly also has brachycephaly (flat-head), doc said it's not necessarily due to her sleeping on it, that is a factor, but how she got stuck in my birth canal started it then her sleeping on her back with her head turned the same way, didn't help it. We are being referred to a pediatric neurosugeon to possibly get her fitted for a helmet, I feel as if I failed my daughter. hopefully we can address the situation and get it fixed. So that's my update and I hope everyone continues to do well!

Great to see familiar names. Hugs to those that need them.
DS is very much three. Tantrums, etc. For those that don't know, he has an autism dx. He's making good progress, though still doesn't really talk. Happy kid and he loves Thomas like there's no tomorrow. He's attending preschool at the local elementary, and that seems to be helping him.
DD will be 8 months on the 23rd. 3/4 of a year. How the hell did THAT happen? She's getting on all 4s, babbling and interacting (a HUGE deal to us given brothers dx)...she's a sweetie. A sweetie who's an incredible suction cup to her mommy these days, but I'm reminding myself that these days are both fleeting and something that I once thought might never happen.
We're heading out on a pre Christmas trip to see family. Two days. 9 hours driving total (before stops). Two adults. Two kids. And a big dog. Oughta be interesting...

My son had plagiocephaly and torticollis. Similar to your baby, the tort was brought on by uterine position of his neck, which led to a favored position on his back in the crib. We were able to avoid the helmet with PT.
I know it feels like it now, I remember being in your shoes, but you DID NOT fail your baby. You being proactive and facing this head on to get her the help she needs...that's not failing as a parent, not by a long shot.

I'm 19 weeks and doing pretty well. I had one of my student's parents ask if I was pregnant last week so I guess the bump is becoming more bumpy. My A/S scan is Thursday. I'm doing my best not to freak out by keeping myself super busy right now. I've got 5 more teaching days until winter break and I can't wait. I lurk in TTCAL as much as I can but its nice to read updates from all of you.
Hiiiiii! I love seeing everyone's updates. @snegde I hear you about the heavy heart. It has very much become a "why me not them" instead of the previous "why them and not me" as @KMW08 was saying. ((((Hugs)))) to everyone that needs them.
AFM I'm 29w1d and doing well. I had a minor freak out that she was slowing down in there last week but then I got hit pretty hard with gastroenteritis and was out cold for a few days. Now that I'm healthy she's back to her crazy self. I had an ultrasound on Wednesday after a freak out in the doctors office about her movement (pgal brain you suck) but it was great to see her. She's measuring 2 lbs 7 oz and has hair in her head! I'm so in love already.
The nursery is starting to stress me out. We still need to get the floor down and the new base board so that I can start filling. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that DH gets that done this weekend so that we can start putting the furniture in this weekend. Oh well. It's a great problem to have.
Much love to all of you ♡
Married the love of my life June 18, 2011 -- Me (28) DH (29)
Nora Beth (aka Vigorous Baby) was born on December 6. My labor was fairly uneventful and quick but when it came time to push at +2 station her hr started to drop with each contraction and wasn't recovering fully because the ctxns were one on top of each other. So, in came what appeared to be every doctor at the hospital and some forceps. 20 minutes later Nora was here!
We are home, she is 9 days old and back above her birthweight. BF and general mommy activities are going as well as could be expected but are certainly as hard to learn as advertised. Good thing this little one is amazing and really has her daddy and me wrapped around her finger.
The pediatrician said that after good bf patterns are established we can introduce bottles of breast milk. Dh and I discussed it and I think we are going to move to a mix of pumping and bf - though, to be honest maybe more pumping and bottles than actual nursing. Any PAL ladies gone this route? Any tips?

As For Me:
34 weeks here, and really feeling it. I've been having lots of BH lately, which I didn't have this early with DS1, and none at all with DS2, so this is a whole new playing field for me. I haven't been sleeping well at all - not sure if it's my body not regulating my temp properly, or the light coming through the curtain by my head, or what, but it sucks. I'm always exhausted, and poor DH is being bothered by my constant tossing and turning, too.
We've been in our new house just over a month, and we're loving it. There's still quite a bit to be done, and I'm trying my best not to stress out about it. We've scheduled a day to have DH's parents come over to help us build some built-in bookshelves in our "formal dining" room, which will actually be my reading/sewing room. DS1 is doing much better in his new school than he was - he's always had issues with compulsiveness, so whatever his teacher is doing, it's working. DS2 is learning math - he's in kinder this year - addition mostly, and DS1 is loving teaching him.

Hello Lovely Ladies! Today is 11weeks, 2 days and I'm doing well. Hi ladies!! I am loving all these updates and it makes me super happy to see them!! Love and ((Hugs)) to all.
AFM: We are kinda struggling right now. We are doing natural cycles as after this last loss, my protocol changed. Not a bad thing, but it was super overwhelming at the time. H wants to take several cycles off treatment and focus on us. I am torn about this as the nurse at my RE said my endo could be coming back (having HORRIBLE cramps from AF). I am concerned I am getting adhesions again on my right side from my last lap, pain has been getting more intense over there. I can't do much about it b/c RE will not want to do surgery as I only have one tube and only one ovary is fully functional. So....we are in a limbo of sorts? I dunno what else to call. I do know I am hating all things IF right now.
On a happy note, we got ourselves a new puppy too! She is an 8 month Dobie and is the bestest ever!!
I've become mostly a lurker these days, but I love these threads to see so many familiar faces all in one place!
DS is 15 months old and loves to dance and talk about animal names and the sounds they make. We moved last April and DH was unexpectedly laid off shortly after. He's in a good new job now, thankfully, but it has all added up to another year of major changes. We are looking forward to a family vacation and hopefully some time to reconnect as a couple this Christmas. The timing couldn't be better because we are hoping to add a sibling to our family in the next year or two and need some time to mentally and emotionally gear up for the TTC roller coaster again. Eek!
I think about this community all the time and continue to root for one and all!

I'm loving seeing everyone's update!! Hello lovelies!! Eli will be 9 months the 21st and he has gotten huge! He's 24 lbs and already very tall but since DH is 6ft6 and my brother is 6ft5 I guess there really shouldn't be any surprise there! He has 3 teeth already with one more cutting!
For those of you that new about DH medical stuff, he's still battling a lot and we saw a new endocrinologist recently. We really liked him and have a new plan so hoping to get things straightened out soon. As for me, I'm doing good. Finally not having near the anxiety issues I used to have but hey, meds do help!
Hope you all are doing great and can't wait to see more updates!
@who_dat_girl Eli also has a flat head and I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety with it. I also feel like I failed him but he had reflux so bad when he was first here that we laid him in the swing a lot to help him feel better. His pedi doesn't feel like it's necessary for him to have a helmet and that it will correct itself with time.. It has but ever.so.slowly. We have a recheck in January and will see how it's going. Good luck and if you ever need to talk or vent I'm here!!
Edit forgot to add about Eli's head and correct typo.
@E&B0811 - I EP because LO didn't have enough energy to get what he needed from nursing. So I recommend nursing all you can, it's so much easier (I was able to nurse for about 3 weeks before the weight issues started). If you can wait until good nursing is established and then pump some for a stash that is helpful, but EP (or even mostly pumping) is hard and extra work.
This! I EPed because DS would scream and scream instead of latch. I worked so hard pumping and missed out on so much time just holding and feeding DS. It was hard on DH too. I hated it at the time and regret it now.

AFM, I'm in my first normal cycle after loss #4 (good riddance to 2014). I've had some additional testing done, including a pelvic MRI, and everything continues to come up normal. We are officially "unexplained" RPL. Our RE is recommending that we continue to try on our own for a few more months. He keeps citing all these stats that we still have a 68% chance of a THB, even with 4 losses and me being 35. I'm doing baby aspirin, an alphabet soup of various vitamins, and progesterone after O, all with RE's ok. I just want to feel like I'm doing *something* even if it means I'm swallowing placebos every day.

Our current house is great, but it's about 45min from DH's work without traffic and I'm planning to work in the same district when I go back next year. We are also planning our first couple of trips for next year. Nebraska for DH's grandfather's 80th birthday in May and Canada for the Women's World Cup in June.

PAL January Siggy Challenge: Good Advice

Hey, everyone!

♥♡♥ PAL/PGAL welcome♥♡♥I'm 19 weeks and doing pretty well.

Any tips?

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:6-7
All PgAL and PAL welcome.
Today is 11weeks, 2 days and I'm doing well. My all day sickness has finally tapered off through the day and makes her unwanted appearance with a vengeance at around 6:00p each evening. Just in time for me to get home from work!! DH and I are laying low and staying local for the Holidays, which has been nice. We usually cruise but will look forward to spending Christmas Day with his Family. Happy Holidays!!

@backstreetpixie I am worried about that problem with my car since my steering wheel doesn't adjust and is all up in my face since I need the seat all the way forward. Shorties unite!
