hair re-growth

So now that my PP hair loss stopped a couple months ago, I've got all these tiny one inch long hairs all along my hairline from it growing back in. My hair is straight and fine, so the ones sticking up are very noticeable. Does anyone use a product, or have a suggestion (other than wear a headband everyday) to tame them?

Re: hair re-growth

  • I don't have any suggestions but I bet it's not as bad as you think! :)
  • Meeeee too! And my hair is thick, so I just have this mess of tiny hairs sticking out above my forehead...
  • Loading the player...
  • No advice but I want to commiserate too. I've only got them at the corners of my forehead. I never noticed that I lost hair there PP, but I must have.

  • I don't think my hair loss has stopped!!! I still lose loads of hair every day. My hair is so fine and now super thin I'm hoping it stops soon!
  • Glad to know I'm not alone!

  • Same here. I wear my hair back to work and it's really noticeable. It's less noticeable when it's down bc my bangs (side swept) hide it for the most part. I wonder if they'll ever grow out??

  • I read a blog article about it last night, apparently there is hope for us.

  • I have the same thing!! I had wipsy hairs up there that annoyed me prepregnancy but this is just ridiculous!! I used bb grooming creme which helps when I wear it down. But they run wild when I wear a ponytail or bun. I also heard to try Moroccan oil, but I have not given it a shot yet.

  • Same. I call them my "shorties" Def most noticeable when all hair is pulled back. Which is 98% of the time. I had blonde highlights and recently dyed brown because I thought it would better hide my shorties and thankfully it has!
  • ok, you'll either love or laugh at my suggestion (only half way serious) get pregnant again!
ok, beyond that I'm with you but probably a little worse as my age is not generous to thick/healthy hair.  I got greys after my first child at 25...now I am about 25% grey and really it is a pretty white and thick hair feels very different than my typical thin/fine brown hair.  I color my hair dark brown and it makes my white hairs look like a golden medium brown.. kind of nice until the color fades.
Just remember it will continue to grow, use a leave in conditioner to smooth the shorter hairs into your other.
  • Side swept bangs help but my wispies still poke out. Was going to wear my hair up for a black tie and my shorties at the nape of my neck were too bad.
I tried some of Hubbys hair wax stuff and that helped keep them down at my forehead. (kMS hairplay)
