Did we do this? Im hosting a cookie swap brunch next week and I love "the 12 days of cookies" so watch got ladies? I want to steal your recipes and eat all the cookies!
This is my go to cookie recipe. I'm making some this week. I make them into nice cutouts. They're whole wheat which means they're "healthy" so I can eat lots of them.
I try not to eat sweets but someone made these this week and they are fabulous! I'm planning on making some this weekend for MH. They're so easy to make, too! I'm going to swap pecans for walnuts, though.
I seriously cannot recommend the sugar cookie box by Krusteaz enough. You add egg and butter and no one can tell the difference! You can do cut out cookies or drop cookies, both recipes are on the box as to what to add. I always under-bake them a bit because I like them softer in the middle. Saves SO MUCH time!
ETA: the word "enough" because, you know...I actually recommend them.
So, my aunt made these cookies for a contest and brought the leftover ones to Thanksgiving, and my H is OBSESSED with them. I didn't get to try one, but everyone insisted they were to die for. My H is still raving about them, to the point that I'm going to stay up tonight and bake some for him to surprise him for his birthday. So hopefully they are good.
I'm going to a cookie exchange on Thursday night with 19 other ladies. We are each bringing 4 cookies for each person plus 6 extra to munch on throughout the night. I am so excited for this!!
I am making Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies.. Oh-Em-Gee Deeelicious!!!
@sleepy33 did they come out amazing? Should I make them?
Well, I didn't eat any because I am not big on sweets and DEFT not white chocolate, but they smelled good and my H says they are to die for. The recipe made, like, 3 dozen and he refused to take any to my parents house to share on his b-day, so I don't know if that's any indicator. They did take a long time to make, but the vast majority of the time was just chopping up the cranberries, so if you are a fast chopper or you have a SlapChop or something, they should be a breeze.
