Weight gain

My dd had her 18 month checkup and pedi said she was in the 34 % . She's always been in the 50% before. He's not overly concerned but would like her to gain a few. Any tips? She 33inches so I guess she's growing in height

You could call the pedi to get tips on this too. Maybe choose some more calorie dense foods over ones that are based on only fruits and veggies? Do keep an eye on bowel movements if you change up the diet at all though to head off constipation which can make the kiddo uncomfortable and grumpy.

I don't think it's anything to worry about.  This is when they typically level out weight-wise due to exercising so much (walking, running, general toddler activity).  Both of my DDs weight leveled out a similarly to yours by about 15 months.  If your pedi wasn't concerned and she's still eating, drinking and having regular dirty diapers, you're fine.

Did she recently start walking or running? That explains it right there.

DD1 was a late walker and ended up losing over a pound between her 15 month and 18 month appointment.
