Winning Mom Moment

Last night my toddler didn't want to brush his teeth.  This was starting to become a regular argument and I wanted to nip it in the bud so I googled "Rotten teeth", clicked images and said "hey wanna see what happens when you don't brush your teeth?"  He was of course curious so we looked at all the horrible pictures of rotten teeth and talked about how painful it is and gross it looks.  Then I googled "perfect teeth" and said "look at all the beautiful teeth.  those people brushed their teeth twice a day"

it worked....he ran in to the bathroom and brushed his teeth and then let me help him.  Its these small wins I have to celebrate.

My mom always told me that bugs would crawl into my mouth while I was sleeping to eat the food remains if I didn't brush my teeth. Lol

I can't wait until DD is old enough to understand/care about this! Lol.

We're having the opposite problem, we get a total and complete melt down when we try to get him to stop brushing his teeth.
