Poll! --- I use my Flip covers for...

If you use Flip covers, what is your favorite way to use them?

Backstory: I just bought three covers and don't know what to do with them.

(M just started STTN, and we had one nighttime leak episode with a 4.0...
Is there something I can do with the Flips that might work better at night)?

I use mine for pad folded flats paired with a couple of hemp inserts (4 layers total). We only use them for daytime.

For those of you that use them with prefolds, do you use snappis with the prefolds? Or just lay them in there?

Flats, prefolds, and fitteds, but microfiber with a sock is clever.

I mainly snappi flats and prefolds. I've laid padfolded flats in there as well.

Mostly fitteds for ON now. When they wee younger, I used them with flats and prefolds jelly rolled and snappied. I have occasionally used them with best bottom inserts.

I just recently discovered my love for flips when I bought a Marie. I use them over cotton prefolds and AC bamboo inserts.

I don't like flips but I have two so for now I use them over F's night time fitteds. I think they're flimsy and I can pay half asuch for a better cover.
What kind of nighttime fitteds do you like?

I'm not a huge fan of my Flip either, which kind of sucks because it's my only Albert print. It's mostly the fit I don't like. We had to go up in rise before we had to with our 4.0s/FTs because the leg elastic is smaller.

I use it over flats (pad fold) or AC inserts. Occasionally I'll use my ON cotton insert, which used to be called the daytime cotton insert, but not ON...just for naps etc.

On H I use sbish snapless. On F I'm currently have 2 bamboozles and 2 WAHM fitteds that I rotate. I like the bamboozles the best out of all of those.
Awesome. Good info for my swap board post tomorrow.

I voted Flip inserts, but I'm also a SS. I prefer Best Bottom inserts. They're cheaper and sized, so no folding.

Same old story with bg. I think their quality control is crappy and their elastic either seems to hold up well or go out immediately.

Pad fold flats, fitteds, and as a disposable cover at night. I had problems with ammonia with everything I tryed ON, sposies leak sometimes so I place a cloth wipe between the sposie and the cover to prevent haveing to change clothes or bedding.

Fst, but my favorite is the Softbums large bamboo pods in the flips. Fits perfect and I love the bamboo.

Prefolds and flats. I rarely snappi anymore, since her poo is solid now pad folding works just as well.

Prefolds or flats.  But they're not our "go to" diaper anymore.
Flips are also mighty useful over a disposable to help prevent blowouts.

I used them for awhile with either prefolds or flats just laid in the Flip cover ... but the elastic quickly relaxed so I quit using them (my Flips were new but seconds, so no warranty ... I love the stretchy tabs on BGs/Flips but I'll stick to double gusset covers from now on).
