1st Trimester

ivf- 6w ultrasound

We had two embryos transferred 11/3 at day 5. Just had first ultrasound. We've definitely got one baby, right now baby b is still just a sac. I go next week for another ultrasound. Right now baby b has a 50/50 chance. Anyone else have a similar experience?? Hoping baby b is just a late bloomer.

I think by 6 weeks, you should be able to see most things, except for maybe the heartbeat, which you should be able to hear by 7 weeks. With our first successful IVF, we saw two sacs 5 weeks, but one looked a little funny.. I was happy to have one and didn't really care about the other. Sure enough, by 7 weeks it looks like it was not going to make it and by 11 weeks, it was reabsorbed. With our second successful IVF, we saw three sacs right away aT 4 weeks. everything was good and triplets are now 8 mo old
