I dropped the ball a little as labor buddy, since Mama had to post her own story!
For now she is in the hospital, very closely monitored. She had several liters of IV fluids to address her low amniotic fluid.... Unfortunately, it only increased slightly.
The ultrasound today shows baby POJ has dropped his percentile significantly, so there is concern for IUGR.
His HB is good, and he is moving around a lot even with low fluid, so that is all promising. Another round of steroid shots to make sure lungs are mature, just in case! (Ouch)
Mama would love to be home for Thanksgiving... hopefully baby will keep looking good, no more contractions... next scan planned for 34 weeks- 2 more weeks.... if you have to be on bedrest, home is an easier place to do it. :-)
So continued T&P please, hoping that baby POJ will keep growing and fluids will increase so he can stay put a bit longer, and blood pressures and sugars stay good! He is weighing in at about 4.5 lbs for now :-)

Mama has to stay inpatient for now. Fluids not increasing, needs close monitoring. Hopefully everyone will be stable enough to grow baby POJ a few more weeks! So far he is doing well, moving a lot and hanging in there :-)

Mama says she "just doesn't feel right", BP and blood sugars are ok. Increased swelling in legs and feet. Baby POJ has been keeping her awake last several nights. Due for another scan in the morning. Please keep her and Baby POJ in your T&P. ... She's thinking it may be getting close to delivery time...

Good news! Amniotic fluid increased on the scan today :-) If it goes up again, she may get to go home and do monitoring every 3 days. ..... so here's hoping POJ keeps growing a little while longer!
