Pregnant after IF

Contractions have begun!

YAY!  So I had a follow up drs appointment today from last Friday because the baby wasn't very active on Friday's NST.  Today, baby was super active (thanks all you ladies who made me feel better on the separate thread), and the NST showed I was having contractions.  Dr checked my cervix and I'm also 1 cm dilated (btw-- checking the cervix hurts, I'm totally getting an epidural for delivery!).

I know that could mean I'm still waiting for a few weeks, but just very excited that it's starting to happen.  Now, just wish I could feel these contractions I'm supposedly having.  Dr said when they get "for real" they'll take my breath away and I won't miss them.

I can't wait for her to be here!!!!!!!!!

IVF #1 Oct 2013- cancelled
IVF #2 Mar 2014- success.... baby girl born 11/28/14
FET #1 Mar 2016- baby boy due 12/16/16

So exciting! With DS, my OB had me come in for decreased kick counts even after drinking something cold, eating something sweet, laying on side, blah blah blah... they told me I was having some strong contractions and were surprised I wasn't feeling them. I wasn't dialated at all at that point though and they were still teling me I'd probably go late since it was my first. I was back a few days later after my water broke with full blow contractions. I hope everything goes smoothly for you these last couple weeks.

Maybe you have a high tolerance for pain?! Yay for no feeling contractions... When I was induced with my son, I could feel the contractions, but they didn't bother me. The nurse would check the monitor & say, you are having a strong contraction, are you ok?! I was fine. It wasn't until I didn't progress past 6cm, because the babies head was tilted back & we couldn't change his position, they told me I needed a c-section, then I got the epidural right before they wheeled me in... I have a pretty high tolerance for pain...

    My History:
    Lots of BFN's & failed IUI's w/clomid and/or femara
Finally BFP with femara & t.i.- son born 6/17/2010
Started TTC again around when DS was 3ish
    Lots of BFN's with femara & t.i & ovidrel
Tubes clear, S.A came back low motility but high count
About to switch to injectables w/femara, did one last cycle with just femara & an IUI with ovidrel- stupid motility was fantastic in the sample, but count was 700,000 AFTER wash! Had to sign a paper to even still do IUI- BFFP (big fat freaking positive) Go figure!

    1st Beta 13dpiui 54, 2nd beta 48 hours later 115, 3rd beta 48 hours later 310, 4th beta 72 hours later 1748.
