Do you waddle? Do you have balance problems? If you're married and normally wear a wedding band, have you stopped?
AFM, DH says that I'm walking with my toes pointed out a little. I like to think I'm not waddling yet, but who knows? No balance problems yet either but I am wary when I go hiking. I normally only wear my ring when I go out (it's not a very comfortable design). I've stopped wearing it when I go on walks because of the edema. I'm contemplating starting to wear it in a chain around my neck.
Oh yah, I waddle, as in my belly is so heavy I feel it's dragging me down... Definite pregnant lady waddle. I lose my balance every time I try to squat down to do something low to the ground with my DD. And on top of that half the time she jumps on me too so that doesn't help. I took off all my rings (normally wear 3, engagement, wedding and anniv band) a LONG time ago. I'm a size 0 normally and now I'm like 40+ lbs more. No way they would fit. Wearing a beater band with zirconias instead...
I had to stop wearing wedding bands when was pregnant with DD almost 3 years ago because I started becoming so sensitive to all metals that they drive me crazy. If I'm travelling I might wear a band for a short period of time but that's it.
My original band is too tight. Luckily husband got me an anniversary band years ago that was too big and I never resized-so I've been using that since about 12w. I've gained around 7lbs and husband says I am waddling. I'm sure I'll be full-blown penguin soon haha
I'm waddling but baby is head down and dropped. Station 1 or 0 , either way she is there..lol my rings fit the same or even feel bigger. I get pregnant get belly and skinny legs and arms. I swear I look like Jim Carey's "The Grinch" in footed pj's ..hahaha
"@"mandyreads holy cow only 6lbs! I wish. I've gained 6lbs already and I"m 11 weeks tomorrow! I think it's all the morning sickness and the carbs I've been eating to combat it. Plus, I was an avid exerciser before but I've been too sick and tired to do anything I was doing before. Boo! I usually gain more like 30lbs.
I'm still early to waddle.. unless I do that all on my own and don't know it. lol
@niknak1208 don't let that fool you lol I was overweight to begin with. but I found out rather early I have GD and have been on a strict low carb diet.and hat has helped me immensely with weight gain. although I will sneak a Little Debbie snack cake every now and then to squelch the carb crave.
Proud Mom to Kaleigh (14yr) Emma (12yr) and Hanna (7yr)
I am not waddling yet, but I will! Lol! My hubby will let me know when I do...he always does. Lol! My ring fit me with the last two babies but not with my 1st. So far no problems, hope it stays that way.
Yep I waddle...I don't remember waddling this early with my girls (25 weeks today) but my oldest is 10 and youngest 7 so it's been awhile. Plus I'm a tad older >:P Not having any balance issues, but I have been wearing my wedding ring on a necklace for about 3 weeks due to some puffy sausage fingers at times!
I'm waddling now, been doing so for a couple of weeks now! I walk slower though, so it's not so noticeable, I feel like I'm swaying side to side, and in the car, while driving, I have to spread my legs apart to make my bump comfy, which is weird, b/c I'm so used to keeping my legs together, feel like a man when I sit all wide open! :-S
Haven't noticed too many balance problems yet, unless I try to change directions too quickly, I grabbed on to the wall today as I turned around too quickly. And I'm overweight too, so (as of last OB visit) I've only gained 6.5lbs, so my wedding ring still fits exactly the same. I haven't had any swelling anywhere other than my ankles/feet when I'm upright for too long.
Did you switch to the necklace yet? I like that idea to still be able to wear it.
