As some of you know, the last few weeks have been pretty stressful.  With my dad, mostly, and his inability to take care of himself.  I called his therapist and gave her a quick run-down of the last two weeks that have been particularly hard on me, to give her an idea of what is *really* going on at home and how I believe different medications are needed, or even taken away altogether.  Because going home at the end of the work day is starting to make me do this:

Obviously, I have to go home.

Anyway, does anyone have experience with subsidized housing?  I googled it and I'm getting different villages in the area that offer it, but I thought I had to sign up through DHS?  Or do I sign up through the village?  I don't understand this!

Call dhs and they can direct you on what you should do

Hang in there! I agree with @MinnesotaMomma91 that DHS will be able to help set you up. They should have information about additional care help your father may need too, if that becomes necessary. GL, beautiful.
