Road trip by myself

Just a short one.  We drove 1.5 hrs to another city to visit some of my old friends.  A.J. is 7 weeks and M is 21 months.  Yes, there was some crying.  Indeed, one single friend's cat was terrorized.  Sure, we learned that we have to put off playdates with a friend's 13 month old until he stops hitting and throwing heavy items.  But we managed to pick up a double stroller from someone on craigslist, eat dinner in a sit-down restaurant without disturbing anyone too much, and assess my friend's maybe boyfriend.  We left during naptime and came home at the beginning of bedtime.  Overall, I'm pleased to say I can managed 2 under 2 on the road.

Good for you! I drive to my parents house 2 hours away by myself but I know I always have relief help at the end!
