I went to my primary doctor today to get a new OB doctor referral and possibly a RE referral (per you guys). He first told me I should go see a RE now since I've already had a HSG and it came back with a partially blocked tube, but then I got a call from the office and he wants me to go see another OB first for a second opinion and wants the OB to send me. For those that have had an infertility workup, what did your ob/gyn do before sending you to a RE? My doctor also said DH needed to see his doctor to be tested. I think my primary is reluctant to send me to a RE, because they're all 3+ hours away.
