I soak them in water for a day and then let them dry on a teatowel overnight. I always bake at 300 for 20 mins, stir them, and then bake another 20 mins. Below are some of my fav flavors:
- olive oil, Italian herbs, salt, pepper, fine grated parm cheese - olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, dehydrated garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, dry mustard powder - soya sauce - melted butter, cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, little all spice or cloves - melted butter, sugar, cayenne pepper
I make 2 batches of pumpkin seeds. The first batch is sweet and spicy. Mix together sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, butter and a touch of cayenne pepper. Oh my gosh, they're so yummy! The other batch just has tamari (soy sauce) covering them.
