Good afternoon! Sorry for being late- DH had to work this morning unexpectedly and I had to cart the dog to the vet an hour away! So, better a little late then never!

This is a weekly check-in for PAIF members in their second trimester. You can feel free to join at 14 weeks and we will bid you an excited farewell on your way to 3rd Tri after 27 weeks.

Nothing new going on here, thank goodness! I have an u/s on 11/5 to check on baby and placenta and I'm really hoping we can get a sneak peak at things!!!!

QOTW: I'd love to stay in my pj's and watch movies while eating popcorn and having hot chocolate!

I'm into double digits left now! Currently 26 weeks along and feeling pretty decent.

QOTW: warm creamy soup, cozy sweater and board games. That would be just perfect!

24w1d!! Hooray for making it to V-day!
Not much to report, which is fine by me. Next OB appt is on 11/14 and I was able to schedule my ultrasound check for 32 weeks on 12/23. They will check to see if my placenta moved up at that point.
QOTW: relaxing at home with the fireplace on, my two dogs snuggled up on the couch with me and ordering pizza and sipping on wine with DH.

Not much new here - I am 27+4 today... I guess that means this is my last check-in here!  Thanks for running a wonderful check-in @kmc84!

Next appointment is Monday - Glucose test along with 28 week check-up.  Getting bigger, more uncomfortable, etc.. it's getting real!

QOTW: Love to curl up with a hot bowl of soup, book and/or movie!

@weansworld09 - congrats on V day!!  I'm just behind you!

I am 23w6d today and so excited to hit V day tomorrow!!  It feels like such a milestone, it felt so far away for so long, I can't believe it's here!  Overall the munchkins and I are doing well, I can feel them both kicking like crazy, baby boy is a little more active than baby girl, it's fun when I can tell which is which!  Heartburn returned with a vengeance this week, and I've been a little uncomfortable but I really can't complain too much.  I see my OB next Thurs, so no updates on that front.

QOTW: Snuggled up on the couch, binge watching a show on Netflix.  And having H offer to take the pup out to pee in the rain so I don't have to :P

Hey ladies so great to hear how everyone is doing!

Over 26 weeks now  can't wait till 3rd tri!  Babies are getting big they are 2.7lbs each this week and look healthy.  They are kicking up a storm!  I see my MFM and OB every two weeks now.  This week my cervix shortened a little quicker than they want to see.  I am not in the danger zone yet but if it shortens next week I have to go on bedrest. 

QOTW: Like everyone else I think cuddled up watching a movie eating yummy food sounds divine!

V day is right around the corner for me! Woohoo! No appointments for a couple weeks. Just enjoying the super active little person inside of me. 

QOTW: Netflix marathon, ordering pizza, and wine (or I guess hot chocolate will do,  for now...)

Hi Ladies! I love reading good reports!

I am doing well also! The boys are kicking like soccer players. My first shower is Saturday & I can't wait! I can't lie.. I've been peaking on my registry My next apt. is a cervical length check next week w/ my glucose test. Then OB apt the following Wednesday. At 27w they want me to come in for WEEKLY appointments.... I'm going to politely fight them since nothing has been wrong at all. Better safe than sorry tho I know.

QOTW: I love the rain! I'd read by the fire w/ a nice glass of wine. Oh how I miss my wine

@jaytee16 I haven't had heartburn yet, but I have a feeling its coming. I'm sorry you are having to deal w/ it!! Those babes better have full heads of hair

I'm 21w1d now. I had my a/s last week and everything looked great. I'm waiting on the OB's office to hear back from the hospital to confirm a date for a RCS. If I go into labor before the scheduled date, I may try for a VBAC. I've felt him moving here and there, but have an anterior placenta, so provides some cushion from the kicks. My reflux has been terrible, but at least the dry heaving  has only been here and there with the increased diclegis. I've had another horrible cold all week. Wah! Next appointment isn't until 11/17. I have all my appointments scheduled through the end of February now. Yay!

QOTW: Hanging on the couch, watching tv and cuddling with my DS.

Hi ladies! I'll be 27 weeks on Friday. I'm feeling great. We have a growth ultrasound on Nov 12th, but otherwise just cruising along We scheduled our maternity family shoot for Nov 30th.

QOTW: ahhh, a rainy day sounds wonderful! We never have them here, hence our drought. I would curl up on the couch, watch movies and sip hot apple cider.

Hey lovely ladies!!

25w4d... feeling great in terms of energy levels, but trying to find a way not to burn out quickly. Ive started to seriously walk slowly and it annoys the hell out of me. Nothing major just my 6month regular OB checkup tomorrow, so hopfully all goes well and I dont get in trouble for weight gain. 

QOTW: On a rainy day, nothing better than to have take out while tucked in bed with DH binge watching tv shows and movies. I live a simple life.

23 weeks and not much going on. Heartburn started.. boo. Feeling very very tired. I thought we get our energy back! Still battling this cough. On presidone now so I'm praying this helps.

19 weeks today, feeling good minus the siatica when im walking. Nothing much to report, due to the PCOS I have to do my glucose test this week and then another appt at 21 weeks. Happy to still have not gained weight. My appointment after my anatomy scan revealed a 2 vessel cord so I will now have more u/s, at 28, 32 and 36 weeks to check fluid and babies growth. Can't wait to start definitively feeling baby. QOTW: rainy days and snow days are the same around these parts, usually involves some good home made soup a movie and hot water bottles to stay warm. In fact that's tonight's plan while DH is out of town for work, just me and the puppies.

Yay!! All good news for everyone! I am also at the V-day mark which is such a relief. 23+6 today! Can hardly believe it. Glucola on Friday, rhogam in 4 weeks. Plugging along. Heartburn has been evil but having LO bouncing around in there is pretty amazing and totally worth it! Really need to start working on nursery.

Congrats to all our V-day gals!!! That must be pretty exciting.

Not much new for me. I'm counting the days until my A/S on the 17th, and just trying to stay positive. I'm in a stage where the only thing that tells me I'm pregnant is how tired I am. I have the **teeniest** beginnings of a bump, but only noticeable to me. In short this is a very boring stage, but boring isn't bad.

QOTW: Sigh. I endured five miserable years in cold, soggy Seattle, and I came to loathe cold and rainy weather. I'm in a snowy city now, which is vastly preferable. If I have to endure a cold rainy day, then a quiet day at home with a happy light on, drinking hot toddies and watching movies sounds pretty good.

Hi Ladies!!! Hope all is well with everyone! Welcome to the newcomers and farewell/see ya in a few weeks to those heading to the third trimester

Today is V Day and I am over the moon!!!! And boy is this little boy GROWING, I know with 24 weeks coming a growth spurt in which the baby will just about double in size by the end of the 6th month of pregnancy! I have two appts scheduled next week - the the gestational diabetes test and my prenatal appt. I also have an additional anatomy scan scheduled for 26 weeks since the tech couldn't get all the necessary measurements at 20 weeks (I'm excited to see baby boy again). Overall, I still feel pretty good, baby boy is getting heavier so I'm achy more and fatigue is returning. Constipation never left, so that's just a normal part of life for me now. Oh, and we've already received a ton of gifts for a baby shower next weekend, super super excited about that!!

Hmm, well seeing as though we can still wear maxi dresses and flip flops down in South Texas, I'm still enjoying the great outdoors while the great weather lasts! But my idea of a cold/rainy day---comfy lounge clothes, with snacks, nestled under comfy blanket watching reruns of my favorite shows and a stack of books!

MissEm15  I know the appointments can be annoying but with twins all is well until it isn't... Everything was going perfect until this week when my cervix shortened like crazy! It can happen crazy fast!  i am so grateful for the close monitoring so we can make a plan to keep these babies cooking a long time!  So while I hate sitting in boring waiting rooms all the time... I am so glad I did this week!

Hi ladies!

17w1d. We just have our orientation and hospital tour next week, we are going with our friends who are 9 days ahead of us.  Minus the M/S, which is just getting worse, I feel good and am glad that I haven't been tired or exhausted at all yet. 

QOTW: Curled up with a good book in front of the fire with my cat.

Hi! I just realized I read everyone's post and never did mine. I'm forgetting everything these days, so I'm not surprised.

I'm half-baked tomorrow at 20 weeks. Very excited!!! We leave for our mystery baby moon on Wednesday after work. It's only a mystery to me- DH has it planned out. A/S is on the 13th- so everything else is just chugging along until then.  I'm attaching my latest chalkboard because I'm that excited to be at 20 weeks..

QOTW: Spending the day in bed with the remote- and the puppies and having a nice home-cooked meal. Kinda did that yesterday with the crappy weather we had.
