Hi all,
I am currently pregnant and thinking I really want to switch to a midwife or an obgyn that isnt c section happy! I use greater hartford womens health and I've had my ob/gyn for years for gyn purposes. My bestfriend uses the same dr as I do and she mentioned how she likes to schedule c sections.
I am pregnant with twins and I want someone who will only do a c section if its medically necessary. I always wanted a natural vaginal birth and now that I am actually pregnant and with twins at that idk if id be able to do no meds but I want to atleast be able to deliver vaginally. Any recommendations?
I really prefer to stay with a Dr. Or midwife that is in the Hartford healthcare network or aetna network. We have HSA for insurance and out of network would leave us prob broke haha. Thanks you for any suggestions you ladies have it really is appreciated
I go to Connecticut MultiSpecialty group and have been VERY happy with them. I see Dr. Cortland - but met all of them through my pregnancy and had no complaints. I can't speak to the twin component as I have a singleton, but based on how I was treated during my pregnancy I can say with confidence that I do believe they would do anything they could to follow your wishes on how you want to deliver. They are also affiliated with Hartford hospital - I would definitely give them a call.
