Hi Everyone- just got my blood test levels back. According to the calendar, my due date would be 6/27, but since my cycle before I got pregnant was 34 days and they were, on average, 31 days before that, my doctor pushed my due date back to 6/30- 7/3. I don't even know how pregnant that makes me at this point. I haven't done the math. Anyway, my progesterone was 13.3 and my HCG was 140.9. Are these numbers low?

My HCG level was 177 yesterday and I'm due 7/3.  My dr said that was consistent with early pregnancy.

Thanks!! I'm always so worried. I don't have a history of miscarriages but that doesn't mean I'm immune. I just want another healthy pregnancy.

My edd is 7/3 and I would be happy with those numbers. What is even more helpful is the hcg doubling rate. It should double every 30-72 hours in early pregnancy. Once the hcg is >1200 the doubling rate is no longer applicable. Some docs will check the doubling rate if they are concerned with low hcg levels.

HCG levels can't tell you how far along you are. They can tell you that you are pregnant, and that your pregnancy is progressing, if they double every 48 hrs. I'm not sure about the progesterone. 

I am surprised your doctor changed your due date. 31-34 days is a completely normal cycle. Usually, doctors only change the due date if there is over a week difference.

The doctor said the only way he would retest for doubling was if my numbers were too low but since they're within normal range he isn't retesting. I'm just letting my nerves get the best of me, I guess! I know you can't tell how far along you are by the numbers but I know they expect certain numbers by week because of the doubling factor so I thought that might be important info to know.

As for my due date, he said according to "the charts" June 27th would be my due date, but that's based on a 28 day cycle. Since I'm usually 3-6 days over a normal cycle I guess he just added 3-6 days to my due date. He said he'd be able to give me a more concrete date at my us appt.

Betabase.info has a good website that lets women compare numbers. I am due 7/2. My beta number on 12dpo was 53 and then it was 184 on 14dpo. I had blood work done again this morning and I am hoping for another double or more at least.

I just got my first beta hcg today. It's at 125. My edd is 7/3. I get my second draw on Sunday to check doubling rate. My RE think my numbers might be high enough by Thursday for my first ultrasound!

I talked to my doctor about this today. He told me I was 8 or 9 weeks along and gave me June 3rd as my due date. But when I had my hcg levels tested it was 346 and the nurse told me I was 3 maybe 4 weeks along. He said hcg levels can range for each pregnancy. I could be 8 weeks along and barely hitting 1000 or I could be 6 weeks and be at 10000. They can't give you a legit edd until they can get an ultrasound. Good luck!

With this pregnancy I got a beta of 18 on what would be 11dpo and 41 on what would be 13 dpo.  The doctor was content that everything looked good because they doubled within 48 hours.

With my daughter it was 79 at 14 dpo, 105 at 16 dpo (didn't double so we repeated it), 240 at 19 dpo.

True @rynaragl they can't tell you EDD based on HCG levels but it should clue them into a range. 346 is much more consistent with a 4 week pregnancy. The only reason I know my EDD for certain is that I had a frozen embryo transfer. You should be able to get an ultrasound once your HCG levels are >1200. I would be very confused if I were you, since you're getting conflicting information from your MD and RN. Keep us posted with your EDD!

This numbers look really good @nicolesottile‌ Sending positive t&ps your way! I go in for second beta today and am beyond nervous since I really haven't felt a lot of obvious pregnancy symptoms.

Wow, those are awesome betas! What great news.

Also, @xochals, it's perfectly fine to not get betas drawn at all. They are usually done when a patient is high risk, has a history of miscarriages, or is under the care of an RE. Otherwise, it's not necessary.

My RE is only concerned if the HCG is below 50. They always do a 2nd beta to check for doubling, but even if you're not doubling but steadily rising my RE is happy with that. Try and relax! Enjoy it! :-)

I don't know why I can't relax. Every time I go in the bathroom I'm like ok... I'm still pregnant. I guess I know too many people who have gone through that and I can't understand how I can be so lucky while they weren't. I just keep thinking why NOT me?

I think it is the beginning of motherhood. I haven't stopped worrying since I got pregnant with my DD. Although now I worry about her being alone in her crib, eating, falling, etc. It sucks. All I can say is just try to enjoy it as much as possible.

Aint that the truth! They worrying only increases once they're born! If it's not one thing it's another... I'm sure I can find other things to worry about with my 2 year old!

My first beta at 14DPO was 175 and my doctor said that was good, but he doesn't think I need a second one unless it would make me feel better. Should I have one?
