Ovidrel

I administered my ovidrel injection this morning at 6:00 as directed.  For about the past 2 hours I have had horrible cramping / twinging in my ute area.  Also I am having right ovarian pain.  Is this normal?  My mature follicle is on the left so I would be less concerned about left ovarian pain.  I do not remember this at all from TTC #1.  Any input?  Thanks ladies!

I've only done Ovridel twice and remember the cramping but not necessarily pain. I felt cramping both sides (Maybe it is trying to release even smaller follicles? Just a guess there).

Maybe there is a smaller follicle on the right side? I feel twinges by my ovaries for a few days before I trigger with the ovidrel. When I actually ovulate after the ovidrel the pain is crazy. I am guessing it is because of releasing more than one follicle but wow I didn't expect that. It lasts a few hours and then it is gone.

I'm expecting/hoping to trigger this weekend (depends who u/s goes tomorrow), so I appreciate you sharing this.  In the past, I haven't gotten to this point, so I didn't even think to expect ovulation discomfort.  Hope it's passed soon for you.  And sorry I can't attest to if this is norma, but hanks for the heads up.

Thank you, ladies.  @graceyandtroy I did two IUI rounds with Ovidrel when TTC #1 and had zero discomfort so hopefully that is the case for you.  My pain has subsided and I am feeling much better
