What should I bring to the hospital as a gift?

I am going to visit a friend whose 6 year old is going through chemo right now. I know he is sleeping a lot and has to have morphine to eat. I am wondering if you guys have any ideas what to bring him and his mom when I go to visit today.

Reese loves art projects--not so much coloring books, we get SO many of them---but ceramic things to paint, create

    Favorite movies
Itunes gift card (if they have an Ipad)
Things that they can play with at bedside--favorite toys, small lego sets, playmobile, travel matchbox sets.
favorite dry snacks (pop tarts, nutrigrain bars, microwave popcorn)
gift card to the hospital (at least CHOP sells those. I use them to buy food in the cafeteria for myself and snacks at the gift store)
Maybe a video game if they have a Nintendo DS?

If I think of more ideas I'll let you know. I would DEFINITELY stay away from crayons and coloring books though---I think Reese has a 100 of them floating around. As blankets, pillow cases, stuffed animals are usually out---especially because SO many people donate them to the hospital--i think Reese must have at least 20 pillowcases at home.
