It is after 1 AM in my timezone. My family is asleep. I have posted last on 6 different threads threads.
It's just the crickets, mice, and me. A natural born thread killer.
I hope everyone is enjoying their restful slumber in their own comfy beds, without being cried or kicked or stunk (stunken? stank?) awake. Or maybe you are out of town, starfishing in a hotel, with room service already scheduled. Fresh coffee, please!
Let's have a roll call in the morning to see who slept longest this night!
And now baby is crying. She knows I'm awake. I wish I knew about the post partum uterine sweep for GPS tracking devices BEFORE I left the hospital. @ChrissieMeas only just filled me in. Dammit.
I'm up for the first time tonight since I didn't go to bed until after 11. That's about 2 hrs later than normal lol.
My cousin is coming to meet the baby tomorrow. The same cousin who just lost her nb daughter a couple months ago. She is so strong, but I am sure that is going to be hard for her. (
@martyn17 what are you doing over there? (I might have missed it, I know, I suck... such a bad bumpie!)
@mrshudson618 oh... she is strong indeed. I cannot imagine what she is going through and still she has the strenght to visit your LO... I do hope the visit is good for both of you
Good morning ladies... 9:19 am here, horrible weather, I wish I would have taken a hat and gloves with me this morning as my hands were about to fall off after my bike ride to the station. Gerardo is doing great at DC, in the sense that he likes it now, he eats, drinks and sleeps well but... he started biting children yesterday for the first time (@casey78) my heart is broken, I don't want my child to hurt others... the nanny told me that it's just a phase and that I shouldn't get too upset about it, they know how to handle it (apparently)... FX that this is a short phase...

@hollandmama, just here for work. I'll wave from Schiphol on Friday
Tess has had one incident report that she was bitten and one that she bit someone. Luckily it hasn't been a common occurrence either way but I was definitely more upset when she was the biter. But it really is just a phase. Some kids do it, some not as much, and then they grow out of it. Try not to stress too much.

@martyn17 Shiphol is my favorite airport in the world! They even have a baby lounge area that is closed from all noise and provides cribs, bath tubs, changers, microwaves and even super comfy sofas for mom & dad to rest along with the LO while you wait for your next flight...
there are also lots of other things to explore!!

Allison was up at 3;30a and I was able to get her back to sleep after about 30 minutes of back rubbing. She just woke up again and is peacefully sleeping in my arms. It reminds me of her being a new born so cozy in my arms.
Haven't been able to go back to sleep since 4a or so. Looks like I am up for the day.
@mrshudson618 I hope things go well today. Your cousin is very strong.
@hollandmama, Ben is a habitual biter. It is so freaking stressful. We've tried everything and now were trying new things, and I think the only thing we can do is wait for him to get more verbal. But it sucks to get the reports. I am so much more relieved when Ben gets bit than when he is the biter.
Ben is still sleeping. Which would be awesome on a weekend. But we usually leave for work now. I'm so torn between getting to work on time and waking a sleeping child. I can't get to work too late, or else I'll have to work later than DC is open. Or be cutting it really close for pick up.
Well, I went in at 7 to gather up Ben. Poor kid threw up at some point after his last wake up last night and this morning. He didn't even wake up when I turned the light on to see what the rank smell was. So, no work or daycare. I really can't afford to miss a day of work, but work is pissing me off so much right now, there are worse things that could happen. It just means that I'll be negative vacation time again.

Aww poor Ben! Hope he feels better after a day with mama!
I'm in reading training for the next 3 days which means no kids and no school! The dr put LO on mirilax instead of milk of magnesia. I think it's making him extra thirsty and fussy. Ugh! He's super whiny and moaning and so has to poop. He keeps trying, I hate this.
I hope everyone has a good day and gets some tasty coffee
I used this as my base idea and did some of my own creation as well. The one for Alex is similar to this one, the one for my nephew looks like an english bull dog (his pet). I love this girls site! She has some great patterns and tutorials!
@LauraB1016 Hope you get lots of coffee today! I know what
you mean about being reminded about the newborn stage!
@lizabethann06 You and your gifs. Always pure awesomeness.
@MRads Huge hugs to you and Ben! It sucks to have to miss
work too. I’m often in the same boat. I feel bad skipping out on work but sick
babies come first.
DH’s grandmother passed away last night. We just attended
her 100th bday party last month. I’m so glad we made it. I won’t be
able to get to the funeral (12 hours away) and I feel horrible about it. The family
understands though.
LO was up in the middle of the night last Friday, Saturday,
and Monday. He slept through the night Sunday and last night. I actually took
him to the doc on Monday to get his ears checked because I thought he might
have an infection but he checked out fine. So, hoping those wake ups were just
because of his crummy cold. Glad he STTN last night. I needed it.
Have a good day everyone!!

The last 2 days have been crazy busy for A and I, but today I have nothing on our schedule so it's park time!! And Saturday I get to have a slumber party with @J134EVA and her sweet girl. So excited!!
Good morning ladies, Ian got up early and we spent some time playing while I caught up on the last few pages of the call out thread, I was laughing so hard, but do regret clicking the dick shoe link. Ya'll are fucking funny ass bitches.
Busy day at work today, I get to use our new cordless x-ray machine for the first time today! I love technology.
@mermomo5 We have tons of laundry to fold. I always try to fold it as I take it out of the dryer, DH on the other hand just dumps it out onto the pool table and it piles on from there! Maybe I can invite @Lizabethann06 to my house too!
Thank you ladies, you reassure me a lot about the biting thing... I do try to say no and redirect without making him feel guilty...
@fabk thank you for the pattern, my sis is pregnant and I want to make some crafts for the LO, I'll have to wait about a month to know if it's a he or a she

@Silv3rlining I know... that's why I arrive there a couple of extra hours before our flights so that LO can play and get tired before we board, so far it has worked and we've had no less than 18 happy flights in the last year you gotta love Schiphol

My commute this morning sucked. People cannot drive in this city and crash into each other all the time. Four wrecks on my way, yay.
I am leaving work early to go to DC. They have a traveling petting zoo coming in and after the petting zoo they are having a pumpkin painting party, parents are welcome for both events. I am SO excited!

@mermomo5 I've been thinking about that a lot lately and I'm just not sure I'm ready for Haddock to have to share his time with me yet, if ever. I know it's obviously possible because a lot of people have more than one child but I just can't imagine loving another individual as much as I love him. It just wouldn't be fair to another baby. Plus, he's just now starting to get to the easy/fun stage and I'm honestly enjoying it
Maybe in 4 years? When he's off to school and I'm bored and need attention? That sound so selfish, lol.
My sister is trying for a baby right now and I'm hoping that'll be enough of a vaccine for the baby rabies for a little while longer.
@martyn17 look at that cute belly. Question what size do you put her in for tops? Do you go up a size to fit the belly. Morgs has a big belly too and we go up even if it is too big.
I feel so terrible for my friend. She just lost identical twin boys at around 15 weeks. This makes 8 angel babies for her in the past year. She was Ku with quints earlier in the year. I think her DD maybe an only child like she wanted. I hope she is strong enough to get through this. My heart breaks for her.
DD is teething something fierce but she mostly Sttn last night. Has not happened in forever.

DD is definitely teething and I'm wondering which teeth will pop out next! So far she only has 7 - 4 top and 3 bottom all in the front.
