My DD is 5 months old and she's not gaining weight as fast as she should be (she has been falling in percentiles and has weighed the same 13lbs 12oz for over a week). I have plenty of milk, the issue is that she doesn't seem to be too interested in nursing during the day. She'll eat for 2 minutes and then start arching her back OR she falls asleep at the breast. The only time she actually eats well is at night (she wakes up 2-3 times to nurse). I tried giving her a supplemental bottle during the day, but most of the time, she just doesn't want it.
Anything I can do to help her eat more? Are any of you experiencing this?
Re: Can I "make" my baby eat more BM?
Edit: also is she's more active, rolling or crawling or walking, they say you can expect a weight staying the same or losing weight.
