Change in bowel habits

My 11 week old was always a once a day pooper. She's formula fed. For the last two days, she's pooped 4-6 times a day! Is this something I should worry about?

I've had the opposite. My 2-6 times a day lady has suddenly shifted to >1 per day. I've been watching for constipation and she's still passing gas like her dad. But she hasn't gone in almost 48 hours.

My pedi said any number of poops is normal as long as you get at least 1 every 3 days.

On another note, my EBF kids poops have changed consistency. Gone are the white poppy seeds and now there are tiny black flecks. About half the size of a grain of rice. Anyone know if that's a problem? I'm calling doc in the morning just because I'm generally an under worrier but poops really get me going.

I EFF and called pedi about this. My LO only goes every three days. Nothing to worry about!

It's funny how the definition of "normal" changes from dr to dr. LO goes once every 8 days. Pedi says it's totally normal. Usually by day 6/7 she starts getting fussy, makes me so sad.
