I was at Michaels today getting a few things to make to put in Owens busy box. I decided to get some finger paints, along with a few other things for Christmas.
I noticed on all the finger paints that they are ages 3 and up. I asked a sales rep if they had stuff for Owens age, and she said no. I bought the paint anyway, but now I'm second guessing myself. The paint says it's non toxic ect. ...
For those of you who have finger paints for your toddlers, what brand? Where did you get it?
Or am I over thinking this? I'm just concerned it'll go right into his mouth.
Another vote for Crayola. I agree with @CL8badB , I think it's more based on skill level. I just made sure she didn't eat it (and FFMC, she did get some in her mouth. She's still alive and no lasting side effects )
We have the crayola stuff too- and have used it just as normal finger paint and in a ziplock (That I taped to out glass storm door so he could stand and "paint".
Re: finger paint
I didn't get the crayola brand, but it says non toxic and something else. (To lazy to go look.)
I love the bag idea! I'll have to try that with him.
I know for sure he'll put it in his mouth, so I'll just really hover over him!
Thanks everyone!
