A bottle of beer went into tonight's beef stew. It's been cooking for 7 hours.

@Dapostrophe the recipe called for a "nutty ale" which I would equate to New Castle which I did NOT have. It was either Yeungling Oktoberfest or Guinness. I used the Oktoberfest. In hind sight? I should've used the Guinness but I panicked and wasn't sure it'd give the right taste.
