  • 1.  How far along are you now? 31, sometime this week!!!

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? This is my off week, so I will see my midwife next week.  Continuing my progesterone shots, ugh, my butt is itchy all the time!

    3.  How are your symptoms? I am feeling pretty good now that my shingles is clearing up, man that sucked!  Nausea has returned a bit, and I am starting to have heartburn (I am hopeful this means a baby with hair).

    4. GTKY: Random -- what's on your mind lately? I can't believe that in less that 2 months, I will have kids! Not a kid, but kids.  This thought is crazy to me!

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? I had my GD test last Tuesday and haven't heard back, so taking that as a good sign.

    3.  How are your symptoms? Back hurts, legs hurt, other than that things are great. Trying to go through all our baby things to decide what to keep and what not to keep.

    4. GTKY: Random -- what's on your mind lately? So many things... too many things to post about...

    Thoughts with you @missmissie82

  • 1.  How far along are you now?

    32w6d

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?

I started my weekly NSTs and BPPs last week, so I go again on Thursday. Last week Baby Q was measuring right at the 50th percentile, 4lbs 6oz. Perfect! :D I also got my Tdap on Thursday, and I felt sick over the weekend, so that was fun. /sarcasm

    3.  How are your symptoms?

Good. Numbers are good, weight gain is good, baby is measuring right on track. No complaints.

    4. GTKY: Random -- what's on your mind lately?

All the work I have to do over the next three weeks to start prepping for maternity leave, then the following two weeks actually getting ready to leave. It's going to be a crazy, busy six weeks!

  • 1.  How far along are you now? 32 weeks tomorrow

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Nothing this week; appt last Thursday went well. Cervix is still closed up tight, so I'm feeling much more comfortable with the idea of going to term with the pregnancy.

    3.  How are your symptoms? I'm so tired. Today I burst into tears for no reason; SO having the TV on when I wanted the room quiet set it off. Seriously feeling like a basket case.  We have a hectic vacay planned starting Thursday; 5 days in FL, staying a different place and seeing different people every day/night. By the end, I think I'm going to be ready to crawl into a hole and hide. Should be fun, but exhausting.

    4. GTKY: Random -- what's on your mind lately? So much stuff and so little time. In addition to baby stuff, SO and I are starting to think about building a house, which means looking at land and trying to get an idea of what we want to build/where/how big/how much/etc. The permutations are endless and it's a little crazy to think about.

I'm new to High Risk check in!

Confirmed Cholestasis of Pregnancy- could deliver anytime now but hopefully at 37 weeks.

    1. How far along are you now?
32 weeks as of Sunday 10-19-14

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?
Was prescribed Actigall to regulate liver and hopefully allow me to deliver at 37 weeks.

    3. How are your symptoms?
Itchiness has definitely decreased since starting Actigall and the medicine makes me super sleepy so I've been getting some "decent" rest.

    4. GTKY: Random -- what's on your mind lately?
How lazy I've been lately! I need to wash/prepare baby's clothes and other nesting things... But I've just been so exhausted lately with Dr appointments and chasing around my 1yo. Really need to kick into gear though.

Edit to send T&P's to @missmissie82‌!!!

  • 1. 32 weeks tomorrow
    2. Was admitted to hospital for bedrest because I am now dilated to 5-6cm with bulging membranes and blood streaked discharge. Since being in the hospital I've received another round of steroids, 12 hours of magnesium, and 2 IV fluid boluses to stop contractions. I'm being closely monitored and will be here until I have her. Currently just having scattered contractions but my water could break any day.
    3. Feeling physically pretty good. Achy at times.
    4. Have way too much time to think about things. Mentally preparing for birth and a nicu baby. PGAL brain kicks in minute anything is off but the nurses are great and willing to put me on the monitors anytime I get anxious.

  • 1.  How far along are you now? 34w1d

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?

Had an appointment yesterday just waiting on my kidney function test results.  Hoping for good numbers.  My doctor isn't sure if he's head down or not.  If she still can't tell I'll get a scan at the next appointment (36 weeks.)

    3.  How are your symptoms?

I'm feeling fine, just typical 3rd tri aches, pains, and lack of sleep.

    4. GTKY: Random -- what's on your mind lately?

I feel like all I think about is this baby.  What I need to do still, how soon I should get a hospital bag together, when I should wash his clothes.  Just everything.

  • I am always so late to this thread.  Sorry bout that.  Thank you @haleyusf.

    1.  32+3

    2.  I had my first NST on Monday.  Baby did great but I was at the doctor's office for 2 hours due to other people's delays.  I sure hope it's not going to be that long.  I can't keep it up twice a week. GAH!  I have another NST tomorrow plus a growth u/s and an OB visit.  I have an endo appointment today.  Yes..  I live in the dr's office.

    3.  I am so uncomfortable.  Like really really.  I can't breath any more.  My back is killing me.  I am sorry I'm so whiny.  I just hate to feel so awful.  In addition, my bp was up on Monday.  It's been perfect all pregnancy so far.  Last pregnancy I had PIH and I was really hoping to avoid it this time.  I am going to be sooo bummed if it's happening again.

    4.  I don't have a lot on my mind besides how crazy busy I am.  I just need to get through the next few weeks.  Things don't slow down until Thanksgiving weekend.  It makes me miserable to be so crazed.

  • Hey ladies. I'm new to the high risk family. I spent the weekend in the hospital with kidney stones and pre-term labor that they bumped me up from low risk to high risk. It's super scary to me as this is my 2nd and normally pregnancy has been a breeze. So here it goes:

    1.  How far along are you now? 33w3d

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Went in today for a follow-up and was placed on pelvic rest for the moment. I'm not entirely sure what all that includes aside from no sex (it took pretty much until I got home for the concept to sink in so I didn't ask any follow up questions). My next check-up will be next Wednesday. Nothing major today though. My blood pressure was lower than usual but I guess that's better than high.

    3.  How are your symptoms? No symptoms. Just need to keep a very watchful eye on myself

    4. GTKY: Random -- what's on your mind lately? My mind has been on nothing but baby since I was admitted to L&D on Saturday. I'm scared she's going to come early. I'm trying so hard to be ready for her but SO could give a shit. I can't get him to help with anything. We were switching rooms to a larger one so there was room for a crib but he is doing everything but helping to make that happen. I am so frustrated that I am in tears. It wakes me up in the night and keeps me awake. No amount of talking to him has changed it. In fact, the last time I said something about it he snapped back at me to stop rushing him. This plan has been set in place since we found out we were pregnant! I don't know what to do without stressing myself out anymore

  • So today I sneezed and my water broke. I thought that meant we would be having a baby tonight but the drs are giving me daily IV antibiotics and want me to remain on bedrest until active labor starts on its own. So more wait and see. Praying labor starts in its own before it get an infection or anything else goes wrong.
  • @sdudley22‌ fx for an infection free wait. Good luck!

    1. How far along are you now? 33 weeks

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? I was diagnosed with mild preeclampsia today :( We meet with my doctor in the morning to develop a plan. My cervix was looking pretty good on Monday. It grew to 2.3 from 1.8cm.

    3. How are your symptoms? I've had a killer headache and spotty vision for days.

    4. GTKY: Random -- what's on your mind lately?
I'm just preparing myself for a premie. That and I made some baby head wraps today!
  • @summersunshine916 it's ok. It is pretty funny that that is what finally did it after having bulging membranes for 2 months. My husband had told me many weeks ago that every time I sneezed he was afraid my water would break. I guess he was right :)
  • Thoughts and positive energy being sent your way, summersunshine916 and all the other high risk moms out there.

I've been trying to keep major baby anxiety at bay these last two days until I can reach the perinatologist. Baby is passing biophysical profiles and nst's but continues to have a huge belly and relatively small head. Three weeks ago the perinat suggested late onset gestational diabetes, but I've been monitoring my blood sugar and it appears it's the opposite: my sugar is always super low. So that, coupled with learning she's gone breech and now her belly is 99th percentile have me worried. Something else is going on, I'm sure of it, but I'm not going crazy about calling people over the weekend b/c my doc isn't emergency concerned, just "let's see what the perinat says" concerned. So. Hopefully it's nothing? But after a talk about how to get the baby to turn head down on Friday I left the doc's office in tears, as it triggered the weekend my first born died at 36 weeks: I had spent one weekend doing handstands at the pool and other things to get her to flip after she turned breech late. She died that weekend. The good news is this baby moves around like mad so there is no question that she's alive. Wanting Monday to get her ASAP so I can talk this over with the perinatologist. And that, friends, is what is on my mind lately.

Thanks to you and all the others for the support. One day at a time, am I right? Feeling more grounded today. Husband is nervous, too, though. Touching my stomach all night and anytime I've made a harrumph sound (which I do lots now with minor aches) he's What What IS It! Poor guy. Must be harder to not be able to be reassured by her movement.
